Darkness has no bottom.
He calls for us to be watchful in His light.

"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. ..."
~ Matthew 24:42-43

To be watchful is a repeating key message found in the Lord’s word to us.
Serious and grave is that we come to know God is real,
and that our meeting is immanent.

"Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming
at an hour you do not expect." ~ Matthew 24:44

We are most seriously warned to be ready for He is coming.

"Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. ..." ~ Matthew 26:41

The flesh can be such a heavy agonizing anchor.
It is extremely important that we do not sever our personal relationship
with God. Preparing to meet your maker does not involve a vacation.
Casually ignoring Him retreating from daily, if not in each moment, prayer
leads to immersion in the world. Our perspective must remain in its proper
domain, eternity. To forget our source can mire one in the temporary
passings where the heart or soul of man is being tested for resolve. Too
often generic popular memory verses get sanitized and we can miss the
importance of the simple truth such as watching and praying. It is tragic
when lusting desires replace lifting love in distant aching hearts.

Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming
- in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, ..." ~ Mark 13:35-37

As we approach the midnight hour, who is your master?
Is time your master, or instead of a thief, is it an exciting blessing with
opportunities for more? Time is a creation of God where it is a statement,
a condition of what we will do with limitations and confinement. Can we
handle or endure being below God? We are all in a realm of material
bondage. Will we find desperate outrage or gentle thankfulness?
Genuine engagement with others or an isolated implosion in to the self?
God is socially timeless waiting to see what we look for and who we will
choose to become. In discovery, the excitement our heart holds can be
challenged by all that creation offers. One must rise to the top above
creation’s magnificence to regard the creator deeply over the finite
descending unquenchable desires. Peace is a calm without desire.
"To watch" is synonymous with "To come".   Amen.

"... your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men
who wait for their master, ..." ~ Luke 12:34-36

Is the string of your heart connected to heaven or tied to a video game?
Time is where management can not be ignored. Preparing for this or
that can seem an endless exercise, especially where decay and dust
constantly approach. What one fills the self with becomes that which
one is. Waiting for God or not expresses either a heart of impulsive
recklessness or patient control. God is asking us for presence in Him
over careless disregard. Purpose, one way or another, has always
involved passion of thought. How close is He in our heart of thoughts?
To wait for the master to arrive is to pay attention to Him. Surely,
if we are truly waiting for the master, we are looking for Him.

"Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes,
will find watching. ..." ~ Luke 12:37

What God has instore for those that love Him is beyond the light we can
see. Is not that which is above all more valuable than all that which
is below? The faithful incessantly watch for His coming.

"Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming
at an hour you do not expect." ~ Luke 12:40

No matter how many times time has given us death, it always comes
as unexpected. We feel almost impervious to its affects denning it will
happen to us, though we fear and watch for it in others. Children cry for
their parents demise in the trap of mortal life. If we watch and wait for
death; cannot we watch and wait for life? Time itself is death of the
moment. God’s repeated warning is in all that is, that it is coming to an
end. What will be the impetus of our muster while we live under in this
constraint of dying time? God calls for us to be higher than where we are
and see Him for the greater glory that He is. Simple minds are limited
alone to the earth where dust decays. Belief in more than mere sands
upon the wind is where the faithful rise to eternally meet God.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, ...
~ 2nd Timothy 4:3

If the Bible is a lie, then there is no God.
If there is a God, then the Bible is His word of proclaimed inspired truths,
and all others 'facsimiles' lack credibility. False religion is more popular to
mankind for it is man’s creation created for self-satisfaction, and pleasure
seeking; an acceptance of uncondoned behaviors, over that of an intimate
submission, and immediate accountability, to God. Many in their distance
from God answer to self without considering His ways or that we all
must eventually answer to God. It is a blatant dismissing of spiritual
accountability, while embracing and catering to the flesh. He has
announced His judgment seat, by which we all must pass, through Christ,
not Buddha, or some figment of Allah; Jehovah is His name. He does not
coexist with evil’s end. Misgivings in proper worship, almost unbeknownst
to casual wanderers, ensnare one in the tangibles, disregarding those
things which are from above. When Christ asks if the faith will be upon the
earth when He returns, He is asking if hearts will pursue God over self.
Running away from His inspired word to another will not draw the
blessings we hope for, such as peace, love, sanctuary of heart.
He calls to all through His word and no man can replace that.

... and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside
to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure ... ~ 2nd Timothy 4:4-5

What we choose to hear and or regard is what we believe; passion is
defining. What we carry is who we are. Many turn from God not desiring
His ways. Truth can not be altered to fit illusions of what is not. Heaven is
One way and our emancipation into it comes by His ways,
and called out for behaviors and or habits of soul.

Dedication, determination, consideration, all define what we are. Certain
truths cannot be ignored whereas arrogance defeats humble submission
in His presence, which is what He looks for from us, not by dogmatic
insistence, but from an eagerly willing and loving thankful stance. Mature
Christians are removed from guilt as He bears that weight upon Himself
welcoming the faithful. We love Him for He loves us first with such a
greater intent than we can fully know. May our belief always be tempered
in His furnace of truth. Humbly call and pray for His guidance and wisdom
to be revealed, that our hearts may be softened and thorns removed.

... let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
~ 1st Thessalonians 5:5-6

Light is our lesson in life. Vision and blindness are upon us. Wake up to
God is the call. Pay attention, to know Him is where reality fits truth over
lies. Strength of character is to remove oneself from the vices that cause
stupor. Sentient capabilities are best served in life with the tingles of real
conscious living, over those unmitigated desperate escapes from that
which confronts one, whatever painful or suffering situations may be.
Excuse has no champion. Running to the hole of self pity and or misery
serves no one. Drugs and dependence is not reliance on God. One can
live as dead if God is absent. Put off sin and watch for God is the solution
to the problem for all, especially for the afflicted under the despair of
oppression. All are inherently good enough to rise back to Him and His
saving grace; it is the choice He offers as He pleads for our return.
He is making a distinction between those that sleep verses those
who choose to be sober, and in this is defined His judgment to come.

... But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith
and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. ~ 1st Thessalonians 5:7-8

What draws us into eternity is our faith
where our hope remains in His love.

... praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful
to this end with all perseverance and supplication ... ~ Ephesians 6:17-18

Armor to Go
Helmet of Salvation = Our Hope
Word of God = Our Defense

True Christians fall more deeply into prayer as we grow closer to Him in
understanding and love. Is our hope casual or something more serious?
The word is our defense to protect the treasure we hold dearest.

But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious
and watchful in your prayers. ... ~ 1st Peter 4:7-8

To those that habitually hate, themselves and or others,
along with blaming family members, they can find solace and
exoneration through love. Love both starts and ends with God. In fact,
love covers all sins and is how Christ has come to save us.
Lift your heart in the light of His love and you will find life.

"Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, ..." ~ Revelation 3:2

There is a hole in the justice of man. Our goodness is fading upon
legalizing lawlessness. Who among us can claim justice can be served
without regard for accountability for all under God? When men’s whims
rise above God’s rules, to favor the sinfulness, blessings shall evaporate
from view. Commit your heart to God and He will establish your thoughts.

... if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will
not know what hour I will come upon you. ~ Revelation 3:3

God has written right and wrong upon our hearts for those who will listen.
Therefore is a defining and conclusive word. It is, therefore believe.
To deny Him and His ways therefore announces one’s end. Souls
are accountable to a higher order than the petty ordinances
of man that slosh in confusion and preference.

"Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his
garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame." ~ Revelation 16:15

Time reveals all natures
Coming as a Thief = To Take Life
Keep Garments = Put on Christ
            See Shame = Sinfulness

There is a thief waiting in the corner of all of our lives.
It is coming to take our lives, and in the flash of a moment,
we all will be standing before Him. Being ready in Him
preserves our dignity over the shame we all must bear.

... For blessed are those who keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, ...
~ Proverbs 8:32-33

If one chooses not to hear God and His word,
there will be no sacrifice of mercy for this one.

"Blessed is the man who listens to me, Watching daily ..." ~ Proverbs 8:34-36

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, ... ~ 2nd Timothy 2:15

... "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, ..."
~ Revelation 18:4

To turn away from truth is to invite death. It is true that he who loses
his life for the sake of knowing God finds his life as living waters refresh
and lift the spirit. I was raised in a family of professing atheists.

I wholeheartedly believe atheists believe in God, it is just that they
hate Him rather choosing careless pleasures over regard for His word.
How Can one come out of the sinful world if one does not know what
to look for, in relation to God’s will? Ignoring His ways will not
exempt one from purposed ignorance.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
Let all that you do be done with love. ~ 1st Corinthians 16:13-14

The test remains for each of us whether we choose to courageously
believe or not. In any event, He calls us all out to have love in all we do.
Love is the innocence of creation that bear eternity on our souls.

... always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you
a reason for the hope that is in you, ... ~ 1st Peter 3:15

Eternal life has no comparison and for us it is a hope in Him.
Our faith is our victory while we live out our lives waiting upon
His promise. Hope cuts truthfully the razor of our faith.

Watch for His Love approaches
Watch for we do not know when the Lord is coming
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation
Be ready always to receive the master
Times of false teaching and deception are upon us
Do not sleep but watch and be sober
Salvation is in His word and keeping prayerful
The end is here so be seriously watchful in prayer
Hold fast and repent
Blessed are who keep His ways and do not disdain it
All those who hate me love death
Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, & be strong
Let all that you do be done with love
Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts ready to answer

Watching for the Lord welcomes His coming.
Time is a vacuum retreating into the darkness.

Darkness has no spark.
Courage is filled with the exuberance of fear
in the midst of applying confidence.

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the
LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. ..." ~ Deuteronomy 31:6

Is God with you or is He someone you call for? Many times we search for
something already here. To know Him is to know He waits closer than we
can know; from the core of each of our cells. In His image God gave us
the power of autonomy. In life we all must face the dichotomy of being
lonely verses being alone. To be lonely is to deny others are present in
an isolated chasm of self inflicted torture. We are all alone among one
another; it is a blessing, not a curse, and we need to come to know He
is here with us embracing our freedom. Time is a temporary condition
and is the incubator of us all. The permanence of our destination
with Him depends on our choices, while alone in isolation,
to remain steadfast in His distant most closest call.

"... Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed,
for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." ~ Joshua 1:9

All of our paths involve ever-ending change.
He tells us to rely on His strength and walk with courage in Him.

... "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than
those who are with them." ~ 2nd Kings 6:16

Men that arrogantly believe they are great over others are no better
than ants baking under the sun. His powers are multi-dimensional
and He cares for each of us more than the flesh we cherish. Fear
confronts us with issues of belief in so much more ways than
words can express. From high to low and all in-between,
questions of life in death are at the forefront of all.

'Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will
strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you ...' ~ Isaiah 41:10

External fear is a lack of faith in His presence. If we fear we doubt His
promise. His promise stands where mankind fails. For a sad statement
on humanity, in a thousand promises of man, rarely is one found true.

God is with us
  ● I am with you
  ● I am your God
  ● I will strengthen you
  ● I will help you
  ● I will uphold you

... You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! ~ Psalms 31:19

Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. ~ Psalms 31:24

Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! ~ Psalms 27:14

Trust in His presence is acceptance of His presence. The Great You is
upon us. If a nation wishes to have His blessing upon them, He can not be
a closet God. Our faith must be an outward proclamation. Courage in Him
strengthens the heart while our hope deepens to that which is higher.

"And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him,
though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will ..." ~ Luke 18:7-8

Since time is temporary, it is inevitable upon its’ end
that His judgment will be. As a day is as a thousand years
so too shall the vapor of our lives quickly meet with Him.

... as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it
is required in stewards that one be found faithful. ~ 1st Corinthians 4:1-2

While here alive in the flesh, each of us needs to consider our
responsibilities to the good call of God. Essential is the study of His word.
Without mustering the strength to hear, the weak choose to ignore it,
in the lazy oceans of their minds. Truly, only the strong survive.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised is faithful. ~ Hebrews 10:23

As He is faithful, so should we be. Union has no separation.

... "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
~ Hebrews 13:5-6

Desire has defeated many from the freedom of being.
Conduct is a practice of mastering ones own thoughts. Without self
control in Him, no man has the power to break the seal of sinful barrages.
Only by self direction can one be set to leave (depart) or stay in belief.
Choices define our destiny in Him over darkness's oblivion.

Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, ... ~ Philippians 1:27

Judgment is serious and it will be based upon our reaction to His call
to be unified in Him. Without His knowledge a blind stupor fills the land
with the chaos of wickedness. Truly, my people are destroyed
for lack of knowledge.

... you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if
you hold fast that word which I preached to you ... ~ 1st Corinthians 15:1-2

It is His word that inspires us closer to the truth
where love stands unimpeded.

... peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we
have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, ... ~ Romans 5:1-2

Each carries a lone call to God
            Grace
   Peace with God
                  ⮡  Jesus Christ

        Justified by faith ⮢
                                 Access by
                         ↑
             Rejoice in hope
                     Stand

Faith has the strength of confidence.

... Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith.
Do not be haughty, but fear. ~ Romans 11:20

A spiritual divide lays across the land.
Division only comes by the bickering of man in his arrogance.
Fear of God rises past man to the blessings He holds for each of
us who humbly love Him. We stand on heaven’s endless rock.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.
Let all that you do be done with love. ~ 1st Corinthians 16:13-14

Love if not simple is of the greatest of losses. Who can say they are
not short on love in a world such as ours? With so many dysfunctional
families, all could admit we should have loved more and bickered less.
With so much disharmony, what becomes of our closest loves if we turn
from God, and make something less greater, or never come to know Him?
These lost spawn the theater killers, explosive truck drivers,
and airport ravagers of our times.

"And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved. ..." ~ Matthew 24:12-14

And while love is lacking, angers are multiplied as blame ravages
the hearts of all. Love can be elusive to those of faithless rage. Pure
love descends from heaven and is offered to all, no matter where we
come to be. Man or God? The choice should be clear without dispute.
Give me God over man!

... brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the
whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand ... ~ Ephesians 6:10-11

It is a test for all and any to remain spiritually strong in the face of
so many assaulting conflicts. The Lord’s very word is challenged to the
core of truth or not. Pray His light reveals the liberty of His love.

... with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod
your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; ~ Ephesians 6:14-15

Knowing and practicing the word not only increases excellence
of character, but one’s abilities to defend the faith and help lift others
lost in the despair of flesh, especially to prevail over miseries.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because
He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. ~ 1st John 4:4

It is a light from within given from above that saves us.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is
the victory that has overcome the world - our faith. ~ 1st John 5:4

We see because He has shown us how.
Christ is the victory that sets us free.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love
and of a sound mind. ~ 2nd Timothy 1:7

Faith is stronger than the stars rising to heaven itself.
Odds may seem overwhelming but we must remember that
our courage is greater than our fears, if we are in truth, in God.

Courage in God lifts us past fears of man
Be strong and of good courage - He is with you in all
More is with us than those who are against us
It is required in stewards that one be found faithful
Hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering
Good courage of heart is to wait on the Lord
Stand fast in one spirit, one mind, unity for the faith
If you hold fast standing in the word you are saved
Our faith justifies us through Christ
As love grows cold, endure to the end and be saved
Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might
Stand being prepared with the gospel of peace
God in you is greater than he who is in the world
Born/God our victory is faith overcoming the world

His peace yields unending courage.
Darkness has noiseless silence.

2/19/2017 ~ Faith Conquers Worry

  worry1am.mp3 (42m 19s)

worry2pm.mp3 (50m 32s)

  Worry.pptx

In darkness there is nothing grateful.
Faith is to climb over the despair of death.

The heart is alone. Loneliness can inflict the most desperate of thoughts
even while surrounded by others; we see the Robin Williams suicide.

Anchors of despair and depression plague the general public. Lack of
faith has led to a society of isolated individuals often termed as the
“Cocoon Society.” Many children across time have been, and are, lost
without direction with hope being a glimmer most foreign. The darkness of
worry can only be addressed with faith in something greater. None of us
can know for sure what is to be. Ambiguities are, by nature, the realm we
have come to be in. There is no lasting material foundation where most
focus. Without faith, freedom at best is elusive. To be free in spirit is a gift
given by God. Worry deprives the spirit of living enthusiastically as the
back of the heart rips in tears of fear. Life is said to contain a biorhythmic
series of light and darkness effects. This is not only physical but also
spiritual. To peel the mental infections afflictions ravage upon a soul, love
is the sole answer from estrangement. Wisdom given by His inspiration
teaches us how to cope developing patience of character in hope of His
coming. There is no worry where those are who truly believe. Uncertainty
has always left sorrow upon the ages of mankind of woman. Faith is
surrendering to destiny’s portal as we shed the flesh.
How often do we search for answers we can’t find?

Rising from the Fallen State
My God
Praise Him
↑      Hope in God

Help of my countenance
↓  Disquieted within
Cast down
My soul

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, ... ~ Psalms 43:5

It is natural for a soul to come to its’ own. In being cast down to the
feelings of life, most if not all have felt the tragedies, that cause sorrow.
Everyone has a reason to worry. It is by the maturing of a soul that
enables one to, say sort of, pick up the pieces.

It is by one’s own thoughts and projections that inner help to encourage
growth forward or sinking unconcern leads to positive or negative results,
respectively. In the final analysis, one must help lift oneself for spiritual
blessings to unfold. As hope in God increases to praise for Him,
we return to the peace He intended, in the strength of being.

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, ..." ~ Matthew 6:25

Each of us has a mountain of life to climb.
The spirit is a gauge revealing faith or the lack of it.
What one surrenders to is what is released in living.
Does love rule over despair? Life too often seems
to send us that unwelcome spin of worry.

"... Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"
~ Matthew 6:26-27

Without faith worry can creep in depriving the moment. Worry actually
steals the time we have. At times it is hard to allow love to rise above
the hardships. Worry complicates what is simple. Simple is the light that
shines on us. Sensing value of presence is compromised when worries
enter. He calls for us to rise in love over the worries that destroy life.
Worry deflates our flight in life.

"So why do you worry about clothing? ..." ~ Matthew 6:28-29

Nature itself reveals the glory God intends for all spouting life. To be
enveloped in His vibrant colors brings out His approaching beatitudes.
The spin on worry comes down to a choice between life or death.

"... O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, ..." ~ Matthew 6:30-31

The material exposes what we are, and if we cling to the material
over the spirit. It is a test of God to see what we surrender to.
Worry invades one of little faith.
What we desire cooks in the heart.

"... nor have an anxious mind." ~ Luke 12:29

Many who worry forget to be thankful for what is. Disgust can blur the
blessing of just living, and the opportunities it unendingly holds. To breathe,
to know, and to love. Is what we seek as valuable from the outside or inside?
Purpose in life has a lot to do with whether one is disturbed or not.

... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. ..."
~ Matthew 6:32-33

At the crossroads of living and dying, it is goodness that rises
above all things. The kingdom of God is peace and joy in the Holy Spirit;
this is accepting the love Jesus has for us. To do this overcomes worry
with contentment in His saving Grace.

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about
its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." ~ Matthew 6:34

It is a lack of faith and trust that is the root of all worry. Worry does
not permit us to love the way God wants us to. Verily, Worry does not
permit one to live where peace and joy dwells; in His light. Because God
knows worry is a trouble of all, He instructs us not to extend those troubles
beyond the day we live in. On our climb away from worry, to isolate it only
to the day is the beginning of resolving and purging its' affliction from the
way we live. He has called us to live without worry as a goal of the noble.

Things that cause us to Worry
  1. My Stuff; Money
  2. Life is Hard
  3. The Future is Uncertain
  4. We are not in Control

The sleep of a laboring man is sweet, Whether he eats little or much; ..."
~ Ecclesiastes 5:12

We were created to work, and work well done holds such sweet calm.
A life without purpose can be lost to worry. Spiritual purpose rises
over material attachments; releasing verses clinging affects
worries. Turmoil arises when isolated material delusions,
from unfulfilled desires, embed upon an unthankful heart.
Blessed are those thankful with the love of others.

"... the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word,
and he becomes unfruitful." ~ Matthew 13:22

Where thorns flourish is in
extreme self-seeking, unconcerned for the welfare of others.
Evils of wrath and jealousy contribute to, and magnify, worry.
When the cares of the world overwhelm us, darkness falls upon the heart.

... "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not
consist in the abundance of the things he possesses." ~ Luke 12:15

What one sees as important really defines the soul.
Can one see beyond the world is another test of God. The material can
trap one in a cycle of turmoil's held in bondage by such things that fade
over time. Existence is confining if only finite aspirations indulge the heart.
Covetousness amplifies worries.

"... you are worried and troubled about many things." ~ Luke 10:40-41

Misery places pressure on a heart to worry.
To be free of worry one has to train one’s thinking to replace the
undesirable drippings with higher thoughts where the peace of His love
resides. Christ carried the sorrows of the world, and so we should let Him
help us by allowing Him to lift the back of our hearts in salvations grace.
For Jesus to carry our troubles, acceptance and surrender to Him has
much to do with trading worry for faith, in the midst of our sorrows.
Worry is commonly associated with complaining.
He calls for thankful hearts.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, ... ~ Psalms 34:19

... Do not fret - it only causes harm. ~ Psalms 37:8

Clearly worry is the cancer of peace. God is the healing we all seek,
and by no other means can redemption be found in the lives of all men
and women. God has made a promise to deliver us, even if it is from
unwelcome or unfortunate circumstances. Misery does not justify worry.

My eye has also grown dim because of sorrow,
And all my members are like shadows. ~ Job 17:7

The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit. ~ Psalms 34:18

Suffering is common to man, but in His light there is
no separation from His love. Does one’s sorrow lead to God or rather
drop to a condition of anger and or worries? Humble or arrogant?

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the
difficult days come, And the years draw near ... ~ Ecclesiastes 12:1

It is what one has in habit that fills the coffers of the soul. In time, sorrows
come upon all. It is the more one knows of God that causes a powerful
defense from worries when sorrows avalanche. When He instructs us
to remember now, this is of the concept of praying unceasingly and
rejoicing always. Many are so connected to the world they have little godly
connection. Petitions are consumed in worries worries and lusting desires.
Time spent, and how, bears the fruit of a soul.
Sorrow is best endured without worry.

... to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 12:7-8

Suffering is universal in the birth of all flesh. It is a safeguard tempering
the spirit that the soul might not overextend past humble realizations.

... "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect
in weakness." ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 12:9

Concepts such as grace transcend past mere temporal thoughts that
bind us in the flesh. His power is above expression. God has made us
weak on purpose that our strengths might be revealed. For the power
of Christ to rest upon one is to accept His love; this is His light yoke.
His wisdom is greater than we can know, but it is best for our
spiritual growth, even though blatantly counterintuitive.

... for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
~ 2nd Corinthians 12:10

It is in the weakness of flesh that brings on humble understandings
and deepens the heart closer to God. The real test comes in strength
while weaknesses afflicts us, through pain, misery, and desire; do we
chose to turn away from the ways commanded by the Lord or do we
further commit to the goodness He calls out for? Many professional
psychologists would claim the advice the Bible delivers is self
defeating and would cause dysfunctional personalities sadistically
welcoming tragedy. This is where the wisdom of God surpasses the
ignorance of man. Character is seasoned by the trials we rise from.
Victory is the love and dedication one has in God through Christ.

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
A refuge in times of trouble. ... ~ Psalms 9:9-10

Relying on God surely lessens the troubles that bump into us all.
No pit is deep enough that He is unable to lift us in His love, if we allow it.
Faithful hearts are also trusting ones.

... will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
~ 1st Corinthians 10:13

Life certainly holds an upward climb with twists and turns on the staircase
to enlightenment. Key is that we don’t give up the ghost, to be clichéish,
but it is true that the strong spirit pushes forward with direction.
Ascension over descending reveals one’s hopes and direction.
Do you hope for life or death?

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. ~ Psalms 56:3

It is purely trust in Him that enables one to overcome whatever life
throws at us. If one feeds on worry, one has not yet fully come to God.
Everyone at times has trouble enter into their life. The underlying
questions during these trials are what one cares about, and where and
what one abides in. Do you go to church or a bar? Facing reality is not the
same as escaping from it. Worry warts are escape artists. Escape to
reality where His light lifts us to the heights of heaven and beyond.
Peace is the opposite of worry and what He wills for each of us.

Worries are overcome when God is in control
Hope in God & praising Him helps a disquieted heart
Do not worry about your life
Worry does not add any value to living
Do not have an anxious mind
Seek God’s Kingdom 1st & your spirit will be settled
Not worry about tomorrow, ample is todays trouble
Cares of this world and greed render one unfruitful
Worry /troubles lead to a selfish heart of disservice
Do not fret - it only causes harm
In our weakness our strength of spirit comes out
God’s a haven in troubles if one trusts & seeks Him
God supplies an escape for unbearable troubles
Trust in God overcomes fear

Worries are overcome when God is in control.
In darkness there is the misery of nothing.

Achieving a steadfast faith purges those worries that
consume the faithless. There are many imaginary lions.
What is not should not be regarded, as illusions do hamper the
contentment that a soul can enjoy, as a natural part of living.

... Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.
But he who doubts is condemned ... ~ Romans 14:22-23

One must own one’s own faith. Worry is an interference to a healthy
productive faith. One can actually infer that worry is a sin. To overcome
the guilt of the past largely release the worries of the past, which plagues
one’s future if they remain lingering in the present. Worry can be an
unreasonable time machine locking one out of the pureness the
present holds. It is hope that returns us to innocence of spirit.
God created hope to combat sorrow, not worry.

... knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and
perseverance, character; and character, hope. ~ Romans 5:3-4

His light builds all that is great in us to realize our fullest potentials.
Hope lifts us to the heights of heaven itself. We are all in common
tribulations as it is a natural condition of sorrow. It is by the trials
of a soul that enduring strength comes, and surely it deepens
resolve for the hope of what is to come.

... knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. ... ~ James 1:2-4

There is no barrier built that can deter a faithful heart from welcoming His
love. In His love a heart opens to reach inexpressible heights and depths.
What stays is an eternal touch. In everything the Lord is doing
He is preparing us for eternal life in Him.

... he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
~ James 1:5-8

It is God that opens a heart to understand. To ask for wisdom is a
higher ideal than remaining mired in worry. Those that fall into worry may
expect salvation although unappreciative embittered thoughts block what
is simple; the lightness love delivers in peace. God is simply asking us to
love where there is no worry. Sorrow is not the same as worry. Sorrow is
a test of endurance molding character. To expect partiality from God is
not the enlightenment He wants for us, but unfulfilled expectations
can induce worry and bitterness against God.

"... Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." ~ John 14:27

Fearless are those who have joined in His truth.

"... In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer,
I have overcome the world." ~ John 16:33

While turmoil's swirl in all directions, the peace of God is the foundation
we stand on. To be of good cheer is to know our destination is more
than the best of all that is. To overcome worry is the ultimate declaration
of faith. His sacrifice seals the word upon our hearts with His blood.
Is the sword of truth in your mind where we are healed by His stripes?
Does the blood of Jesus cut to your heart?

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. ~ Colossians 3:2

Most of all that is exists above where we are, an insight sent by God.
Unless one’s path includes a vertical route, faith is reduced
to those things of earthly limitations.

... sorrow of the world produces death. ~ 2nd Corinthians 7:10

A Choice to Rise or Fall

Apologetic Heart

Heart of Worry

Faith overcomes no matter the obstacles any and all face, but without
regard for God, a tortuous soup stirs the gut. Either one has a heart of
worry or a spiritually apologetic one. Worry is embedded in a sinful nature
and lacks the faith to believe. Worry often coincides with a heart of anger.
One has to make a conscious effort to choose rising into the light of
repentance verses descending into the darkness of worries.

Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad. ~ Proverbs 12:25

In the multitude of my anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul. ~ Psalms 94:19

Truly it is one’s thoughts that control the corridors of the mind where
the heart beats. To rejoice in His word is key in keeping worry abridged.
It is the good word that draws us into faith. His word increases faith as it is
the door to Him. How many actually enter through this door? What is in
your heart drives your spirit. We may not be able to totally eradicate
worry and anxieties all the time, but it is what He asks of us as we
diligently pursue our faith in the comfort of Him.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; ...
~ Psalms 139:23-24

Asking for God’s help to reveal one’s
weaknesses strengthens faith to endure higher paths in Him.
Worry discloses weakness in faith where doubt cripples the feeble.
What is magnified upon the heart is what one worships.
On the road to eternity, He is our guide.

... men always ought to pray and not lose heart, ... ~ Luke 18:1

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me."
~ John 14:1

Prayer is essential in divine relations where worry is replaced with bliss.
It is when we lose heart that misery is amplified and worries encroach.

... our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is
being renewed day by day. ~ 2nd Corinthians 4:16

Our light in Christ is what carries us.
The flesh can not carry the spirit onward as it is a temporary portal with
ends buried in agony. It is the soul that lifts the spirit to a higher existence.
To cling to the flesh denies the true nature of life's eternal purpose.
Without a vertical awareness, the horizontal vision keeps one blind to
this truer nature. Life is more than can be seen, across an entire lifetime,
where time limits true vision. It is what is in us that renders life or death,
faith or worries. No one can beat worry alone. It is only by the grace of
His light that worries are expunged. To be fulfilled one must let go of
the outside influences and develop that which emanates from within.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a
far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 4:17-18

In the angst of becoming, our lesson becomes to see that
which is larger than the self. One cannot see others if trapped
in self pity. The defeat of worry is in the beneficial upward
spiral love holds for all that embrace others as precious.
The earth is an incubator of which womb we come forth.

Worry is the Death of Life
● WORRY

  ● FAITH

Worry is the death of life where
faith’s invigorations extend upon all possibilities. Part
of faith is being able to soberly humble oneself in the face of His truth.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may
exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, ... ~ 1st Peter 5:6-7

In God’s time a soul rises in spirit. All that one is comes to be in His light,
for better or worse. We are all married to that which gives us life. Life and
time is unequivocally a test to have patience in God. Better to kneel to
God now rather than shockingly upon judgement. Without casting
all cares upon Him, worry has no avenue of escape.

... who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able
to comfort those who are in any trouble, ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 1:4-5

Strengthened in misery our
comfort in Christ is by Christ

● Comforts us in all our tribulation
● Able then to comfort those in trouble
● By which we are comforted by God
● We sympathize with Christ’s sufferings
● Our consolation is through Christ

Confronted with both darkness and the light, it is our choice to choose
which path we pursue. Surrendering to the darkness rejects the ideals
of all goodness He has delivered for us to know beyond any shadow of
doubt. Fear, worry, and denial, leads to an abyss left to the unfortunate.

Many struggle for human attention in the midst of their lonely misery
where there is no consolation. Knowing we all suffer together lessens
said suffering in consolation of not being left alone. As we walk through
the darkness in life, if we see the light of God, we carry those who
come with us. God is the beacon that lights the way. Those who
are in God comfort and edify one another. When purpose
becomes for others, worries of the self evaporate.

Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this
you will save both yourself and those who hear you. ~ 1st Timothy 4:16

By pursuing the light God has delivered, others will know of one’s
purpose, whether it be magnanimous or self-serving. Evil cannot support
itself. To battle the evil of worry one must come to Him for help and
comfort. To be immersed in His light is where there is no worry.

Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. ~ Psalms 34:14

To find purpose gives life reason. Goals define our desires.
May those things we seek come from above turning from
the darkness that devours all below.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season
we shall reap if we do not lose heart. ~ Galatians 6:9

It is our climb back to His light that brings darkness clearly into view.
Challenges for all will ever increase where faith is infinitely tested. To
shine in His love is where worry has no light. Can we rise in heart to love
those who hate us, and in this is where worries traverse to sorrow, for all
mortal souls must carry sorrow on the path to eternity. When sorrow
drops to worry, this is where faith sinks. It is in sorrow that the soul
grasps those higher ideals of living through the darkness about us.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you
were called in one body; and be thankful. ~ Colossians 3:15

Our heart is where the fire of life burns. The light from within is brighter
than any darkness that confronts us. To not trust in this inner light is to
relinquish His gift to the realms of sensuous desires diverging from true
humble faith. In the world of flesh, all walk through the darkness to find
the light. This godly light turns from the darkness most swagger in.
What we are “in” to defines who we are.

Worry actually separates one from the Holiness of God.
As heart disease cripples life, so worry infects the spirit in fruitlessness.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; ... ~ Philippians 4:6-7

In a more than magical way, miraculous in nature, His love lifts us higher
than ourselves. In honor of Him all is, and His blessings come bestowing
upon us all to know life over death. In God there is no worry. It is those
things important to us that either delivers or condemns us.
It really is a question of things and how we think about
or perceive them that declares our nature of spirit.

Things to meditate upon
● True
● Noble
● Just
● Pure
● Lovely
● Of Good Report
● Any Virtue
● Anything Praiseworthy

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, ... ~ Philippians 4:8

To neglect this eternal offering of truth is to deny the life each of us
have been given. In following His word, each of us is given the tools to
eradicate worry. The things we should be seeking are clearly defined.
If you want to eventually eliminate worry, faith in Him is
the only eternal answer.

Faith in God lifts one past all worries
Whatever is not from faith is sin; worry snubs faith
Trials yield patience honing character sealing hope
Trials test faith producing patience in love
Do not have expectations of God
In tribulations we can have the peace of God
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression
In the multitude of anxieties, He comforts
Let not your heart be troubled believe in God/Jesus
Our eternal destination lessens temporary troubles
Humbly cast all your cares upon God
Christ carries our sufferings enabling us to help others
Depart from evil & do good; Seek peace & pursue it
Be anxious for nothing, continue to pray, be thankful

Faith in God lifts one past all worries.
Darkness has no stop signs; there is nowhere to go.

Darkness has no praise.
When we embrace the Lord we seize life.
It is the ability to see through the veil.

... Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD ...
~ Genesis 3:8

Some believe God is distant, if existent, and that
deeds may be done in secret, foreign from His view.

"Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?"
says the LORD; ... ~ Jeremiah 23:24

Contrary to any human doctrine,
God perceives all in the presence of His creation.

Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the LORD, ...
~ Isaiah 29:15

Disregarding God leads to evil outcomes
Woe who hide from the LORD
              ⮡  Works in the dark;

                    → "Who sees us?"
                    → "Who knows us?"

Repeated warnings go forth cautioning not to ignore His vision.

There is no darkness nor shadow of death Where the
workers of iniquity may hide themselves. ~ Job 34:22

The farthest corners of darkness are not hidden from the sight of God.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
~ Psalms 139:7-10

For those seeking to escape Him there is no refuge.
It is God that leads all of us as He waits holding time in space.

... The darkness and the light are both alike to You. ~ Psalms 139:11-12

In the timelessness of God, He waits for what He has openly
given in light to freely return to Him. The faith of a true believer turns
the darkest of all situations into the light He commands, for one’s
inner brilliance is to shine in the midst of affliction. No matter how
dark it gets, His light shines forth. Belief in God is a shield of light.
Earth is His womb unto eternity where He patiently watches.
God sees all with no place hidden beyond His view.

... He did not hide deep darkness from my face. ~ Job 23:14-17

As God sees darkness, so do we witness it, as hard and cold as it is.
In witnessing darkness we see what is to come
for those that reject His pure light; death.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; For You are with me; ... ~ Psalms 23:4

He is the protection in the face of overwhelming evil.
Are we able to endure the fires of pain to stand in His light? He is
the rewarding strength when we are too weak to hold ourselves up.
It is God that brings fearlessness to the heart.

The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth. ... ~ Psalms 145:18-20

An honest heart cries out and He lifts all that is genuine.
To know He hears us is to trustingly love Him even though
we must at times endure tribulations.

The LORD has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked
for the day of doom. ~ Proverbs 16:4

By the hand of God blessings unfold in the presence of all. He will
retrieve all who genuinely attempt the best they can to seek Him out.
A destination is coming for all. On the one hand, eternal life in His light
for the faithful, while eternal darkness absent from His power awaits the
wicked. It is pride that fearlessly exalts oneself above God Almighty.

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
~ Isaiah 55:6

While in the light opportunity is offered to all. God is offering
each of us something greater than ourselves, His love in the light.

Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness, ... ~ Hebrews 3:8

Bitter of heart blocks the love in accepting the sacrifice
He has given for all to autonomously know.

... they tempted the LORD, saying, "Is the LORD among us or not?"
~ Exodus 17:7

To hold contempt for God exposes a selfish over thankful heart.

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart
of unbelief in departing from the living God; ~ Hebrews 3:12

Unbelief and doubt destroy an honest open relationship with God.
He seeks life in His creation to return on its’ own accord.
Doubt shrivels the spirit.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that
times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, ... ~ Acts 3:19

Repentance is a change of heart to pursue that which is good in Him.
To repent is to turn from the desires that are contrary to His commands.

"... that they might grope for Him and find Him,
though He is not far from each one of us; ..." ~ Acts 17:27

To notice the Lord one has to accept that He is.
This is when He becomes closer than we are even to ourselves.
If the Lord seems far away, one has either a weak faith, ... even to
the point of unbelief, its roots are in a selfish and or unthankful based
faith. The Lord is far from those with doubt in their hearts. The Lord rests
not just upon the surface of our flesh, right next too, but all while in
the depths of our deepest parts. He looks for what we come to love.

Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass. ... ~ Psalms 37:5-6

Commit + Trust = Come to Pass

Just committing is not enough in establishing a true unbreakable
relationship. Trust is essential and is what a surrendering heart does.
With trust His will comes to be as the spirit is illuminated in His truths.
It is trust that solves all problems.

Arise, shine; For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. ... ~ Isaiah 60:1-2

Christ has risen upon us all.
To see Him is to know what He did that we may live.
Faith is allowing one’s self to be drawn back into His light of all truth.
The sight of the Lord radiates from within.

"The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; ..."
~ Zephaniah 3:17

God's favor will unfold
  He will:
         ● Rejoice over you with gladness
         ● Quiet you with His love
         ● Rejoice over you with singing

It is easy to forget those things the Lord does for us.
Accepting His love opens that eternal door where truth resides.

"... who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has
everlasting life ... has passed from death into life." ~ John 5:24

To find God is to believe in Him which brings His eternal presence
to light in one’s life. If one still believes in death,
one has yet to fully realize life in Him.

... it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which
dI now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God ... ~ Galatians 2:20

... He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal
bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. ~ Romans 8:11

Once one fully appreciates what He did for us,
in all of its facets, how awesome does His sacrifice become
as one bows before His brilliance of grace.

Creator of all His Perception is absolute
People think they can hide from God
The Lord sees all that happens
Dark works cannot hide from His view
None can escape from the presence of the Lord
He crosses all as light expose all that is
God does not hide darkness from us
God protects us in all we do
The LORD is near to all who are in truth and love Him
All is made for and by the Lord
He calls for all to return in Him
Do not harden your hearts questioning His presence
An evil heart of unbelief departs from God
His presence refreshes the spirit

In His light we see Him for He is.
Broken dreams do not defeat the faithful. True belief rises past
all tribulation in view of that which is greater, the love of God.

Silence is part of the deep hole of darkness.
To be with the Lord has no greater value.

... Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. ~ Psalms 51:10-12

We need to ask for His help in opening our understanding,
to be better established in His will. Without a clean conscious and zeal
of spirit pursuing His truths, His presence is all but elusive. Carl Marx said
that religion was the opium of the masses, but in actuality, it is the identity
of a true soul returning to the source of all life, love. It is an upward call
from God Himself for us to remember Him of our own accord.

SOUND DESIRE
  ● Create in me
  ● a clean heart
  ● a steadfast spirit
  ● Joy of salvation

... "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." ~ Exodus 33:14

And in Him we find our eternal spiritual rest. There is no greater love than
knowing the Lord waits to give each of us rest upon His originating Spirit.

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; ...
~ Psalms 16:11

In Your Presence = Fullness of Joy

Choices confront each of us and we can only pray sin passes us by as
we approach His presence. Life is either full or empty and it is in this
choice that our character is revealed. Do you live in a reservoir or a
desert? Part of the presence of God is accepting the presence of God.

... with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation. ~ Isaiah 12:1-3

God’s willingness to forgive falls upon those
that trust in Him and follow after Him.

The Well of Salvation Comes
● I will praise You ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼→ WORSHIP
● You were angry with me ⎼⎼⎼⎼→ SIN
● Your anger is turned away ⎼→ MERCY
● You comfort me ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼→ TRUTH
● God is my salvation ⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼⎼→ CHRIST
● I will trust & not be afraid ⎼⎼→ LOVE

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said,
out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." ~ John 7:38

A rising spirt comes to those that achieve
a loving dedication to Him in all that they are.
It is our faith that pours out of us.

... be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said,
"I will never leave you nor forsake you." ~ Hebrews 13:5-6

With what has been said one must act on scripture
to reap those benefits the inspired word speaks of. The
concepts given of His word deliver the peace the world does not know.
It is the blessing of His eternalness that gives more than takes.
Man has no power over God.

For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
~ Psalms 18:28

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
~ Jeremiah 29:13

God is found by all who desire Him with all of their being. To have faith in
the Lord is greater than what can be seen, and it is larger than all that is.

... And you who seek God, your hearts shall live. ~ Psalms 69:29-32

Though miseries are persistent, His peace in love shine forth
through all gloom. It is when your heart lives in Him that He is present.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. ... ~ James 4:8

The closer to God the more one can identify
with His presence and notice His will at play.

... receive with meekness the implanted word,
which is able to save your souls. ~ James 1:21

Truth is the cornerstone of what heals the soul
  Implanted Word = Salvation

To shed past mistakes and evil influences, seeking His word,
empowers the salvation He offers. The more one knows and accepts
of His truth brings about the closeness greater than any human bond.
We find God through the light of the word.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ...
~ James 1:22-24

No accountability disregards responsibility
Not a doer = Forgets God

If one does not apply the word of God, one should not expect to feel His
presence. Submission to a higher love in trust, one cannot know God if
not applying His will in one’s life. Be Holy for I am Holy is where goodness
comes to goodness. To not see God in self is to deny His presence.

... Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
~ 1st Corinthians 13:11-12

To know God is to know self. Maturity of spirit is required to enjoy the
blessings He bestows. Strength of spirit is the brilliance He imparts on the
humble. There is no question for those that believe in Him as He is here.

... being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,
just as by the Spirit of the Lord. ~ 2nd Corinthians 3:18

To acquire a true sense of His presence,
we are transformed into His image as spirits of His creation.

... If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
~ 2nd Timothy 2:13

"... I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." ~ Revelation 3:20

To enter His door is to be eternally immersed in His light. Doubt and
earthly desires deny a true relationship with God in the freedom He offers.

... Christ ... into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; ...
~ Hebrews 9:24

Christ Himself is our arbitrator in our own eternal creation.
As we are witnesses of ourselves to Him, and if aware
of this exposure, it draws us closer to Him.
Christ is everyone's portal to eternity.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust,
that He might bring us to God, ... ~ 1st Peter 3:18

Christ came to earth specifically so that we could be drawn into the
true and only living God. Christ is God calling us to come to Him.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, ... ~ Hebrews 4:16

To believe in God is to come directly to Him and in this His presence is.

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
~ Ephesians 2:18

... in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith
in Him. ~ Ephesians 3:12

Confidence is a natural effect of our bond in His eternal grace.
We take our direct access to God for granted as it has been
long fought for and hard won.

... I am with you always, ... ~ Matthew 28:20

He is with us always as He waits for our awakening.

God renders the light for life to live
With a clean heart pray His presence is not taken away
His presence gives one rest
In His presence is fullness of joy
Belief in Him brings wells of salvation
Be content with such things as you have
He is the light of our lives
One finds God with all of one’s heart
One’s heart shall live who seeks God
God comes near to those near to Him
Receiving His word is what saves one’s soul
Only the genuine find His presence
Depth of character reveals His presence
We are transformed closer to Him in His presence

His presence is what gives us life.
There is no where to move in darkness.

4/16/2017 ~ Trust

  trust1am.mp3 (42m 46s)

trust2pm.mp3 (46m 38s)

  Trust.pptx

Darkness has no belonging.
In the light of God each one must answer
to the trust buried deep in our hearts.

Trust is what builds a soul. Is the choice that gives joy one of temporary
carnal pleasures or spiritually more edifying and endlessly enduring?
Broken trust is why we have become the abomination that we are.
If we honor the lie we miss the truth.

Trust is like a puzzle and it involves our deepest desires.
Relationships, Money, Education, Government, Medical, etc. issues.
Many men crawl on their bellies searching for sustenance as they slither
through their almost unconscious desperate life. Once they obtain their
possession, they hide among associates unaware of the damaged goods
or wounded souls left behind. The only salvation for such is to stand and
listen. If fortunate enough to be humble without violence, and prodding
from others not to take it, realization may come; realization that anger
cannot cover misery but only increase it. As such, truth becomes one’s
greatest weapon and fear the worst enemy. Trust outside self rises to
a higher level allowing true liberty to arrive while in mortal bondage.

The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him. ~ Nahum 1:7

The greatest trust one can have is in God Himself.
How can one find trust in what decays?

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; ... ~ Psalms 9:10

... name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, ... ~ Philippians 2:9-11

Knowing the name of God is knowing who He is and what He desires
has surly been revealed in Christ. By seeking Him is to know Him.

Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust, ... ~ Psalms 40:4

When God becomes greater than all material and submission
is above all persons, trust is rightfully placed. The brazen
have always tried to steal the means of the meek.

"Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit." ~ Jeremiah 7:8

How can one obtain peace if the lie becomes greater than then the truth?

No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth. ... ~ Isaiah 59:4

Spinning in a vacuum of deception, the
self-proclaimed have no eternal foundation.
Where truth is absent there is no justice.

... Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man,
in whom there is no help. ~ Psalms 146:2-3

Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes
flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD." ~ Jeremiah 17:5

┗► Evil has no color but dark.

No man is higher than what God Himself can do, for each
one of us in His promise of salvation, when one turns to Him.
Much of what we trust in is what we hope for. Does one hope for
those carnal things that displease God, ignoring or abandoning His
clearly defined goodness, that is found in Him and His word?

... Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass. ~ Psalms 37:3-5

Trusting in the Lord is also rejoicing in Him.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own
understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, ... ~ Proverbs 3:5-6

┏► Love carries all that is eternal.
That elusive peace beyond understanding is
an anchor one holds to as God’s gift to true believers.

┗► The thread of the heart reaches into heaven.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, ...
~ 1st Peter 5:6-7

Trust in God believes He lifts us in tests
that bring us to be who He wants us to be.

... Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings
are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. ~ 1st Peter 5:8-9

Awareness often surrenders to deception
    ● Be sober
    ● Be vigilant
    ● Resist the devil

While watchful the storm rages chasing
the righteous across the sea of sin.

Success is not a measure of earthly quantifications.
Success is a spirit of joy’s peace for love’s emancipation.
Success is the bond to give one’s heart away out of any stingy center.
Dreams may never come true where many battle the loss of all those
most extraordinary hopes. To stand on the bottom is to reach the top.
Success is leaving a piece of yourself for the enrichment of others.

... Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. ~ Psalms 56:3-4

So shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me,
For I trust in Your word. ~ Psalms 119:42

Trusting the Lord should be on all of our horizons.
He rises above all that is despicable.
His word gives us the wisdom of protection.

┏► Not forgetting true essence divides the real from the insincere.
... The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of
evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. ~ Psalms 112:6-7

Belief is an action that remains certain
  The Righteous
           ⮡  Will never be shaken
                  ⮡  in:
                       ● Lasting remembrance
                       ● Not afraid of evil
                       ● Heart is steadfast
                       ● Trusting in the LORD

It is love for God that unites us in the eternal rewards that He offers.

... God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ... ~ Isaiah 12:2
┗► Longsuffering rides along in pursuit of a higher cause.

God and regarding His personal sacrifice is synonymous
with salvation and the strength it brings.

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.
~ Proverbs 29:25

Man has traps around every corner that steal joy and happiness. Mankind
is but of a shipwreck lost in the fog without a rudder; keeless. Only in a
true steadfast faith is the sanctuary of a heart’s security and safety.

It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.
~ Psalms 118:8-9

No man has the power of God nor the mercy He extends.

... no herd in the stalls - Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. ~ Habakkuk 3:17-18

                     God persistently waits. ◄┓
As Job lost all, though hardships loom, His love remains.
┗► Faithfulness in life over all loss.

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
~ James 4:7

But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."
~ Psalms 31:14

It is each souls quest to honor the Lord and
His spoken word is where spiritual protection arises.

Beyond the material trust has supernal qualities
The LORD knows those who trust in Him
The LORD does not forsake those who seek Him
Blessings come upon those who trusts in the LORD
Do not put your trust in princes or in a son of man
Feed on His faithfulness & commit your way to Him
Humble yourselves and cast all your cares upon Him
Be sober, vigilant; Resist the devil, steadfast in faith
The righteous’ heart is steadfast trusting in God
Praise His word and trust in God
Trust in God’s salvation removes fear
Trust in the LORD more than your self
Trust in the LORD over putting confidence in man
Submit to God; Resist the devil and he will flee

Trust has no doubt.
Darkness has nowhere to believe.

God’s truth has risen to the brightest mountaintop. It is man’s attempts to
distort His given truths that buries the people in the valleys of despair.
┗► Misgivings of honesty tear from tranquil spirits.

So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. ~ Mark 11:22

As soul spirits we need to take heart in what reality shows us in that
seeds grow and so each one’s spiritual growth is nurtured by belief.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for; ... ~ Hebrews 11:1

True faith reaches out beyond us in a presence we hope for
where love is greater than any can know as it gives life itself to all.

... "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?" ~ Mark 4:40

┏► Desperation does rattle the nerves.
Do we hang on the edge to where our faith
is challenged by fear over security in Him?
┗► The bondage of flesh exposes our greatest weaknesses.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; ... ~ Philippians 4:6-7

Faith can sometimes be challenged by those things
that weigh down and beat upon our hearts.

... "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches
to enter the kingdom of God!" ~ Mark 10:24

Clinging to the material can be an anchor
trapping a soul from truly being free.

┏► Greed overwhelms mercy against His command.
Those who trust in their wealth And boast in the multitude of their riches,
None of them can by any means redeem his brother, ... ~ Psalms 49:6-7

All men live in mortal poverty.

... in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but
in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. ~ 1st Timothy 6:17

Everyone’s greatest mortal quality is ignorance. ◄┓
Rich can be a relative term. Rich in knowledge may not necessarily
mean rich in truth if not in accord with what God has declared over
what man has devised. Truth is written on the hearts, from the Holy Spirit,
where conscious reveals genuineness over callous rejection of what
is found in His goodness and delivery of universal truth.

Guard what was committed to your trust, ... ~ 1st Timothy 6:20-21

We should see God’s established truth as precious
not to be discarded for popular whims as this does not honor Him.

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some
others, epistles of commendation to you ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 3:1

┏► Perversions arise without regard for His holiness.
Is it to elevate man by man or is it to glorify God in the highest?
Do we look to our own interests or strive at our best
to keep the integrity of His word?

For not he who commends himself is approved,
but whom the Lord commends. ~ 2nd Corinthians 10:18

It is God that approves the actions of man and in fact
He condemns man’s actions bent to glorify man over God.
The letter of a man declares his character written on his heart.

... clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not
with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 3:2-3

It is the fire of each heart that shines unto the Lord. He awakens
us to His living way where death no longer has dominion over us.

And we have such trust through Christ toward God. ~ 2nd Corinthians 3:4

No embrace is tighter than His love for us, and so we love Him. It is not
by an act of insecurity that we come to God, but for the promise of eternal
life for those that overcome desires that defeat a compassionate heart.
┗► His Love has been given beyond measure.

... our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of
the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 3:5-6

One humble heart has more value than all
the dead books that blow across the ages of time.

... if the ministry of death ... was glorious ... how will the ministry
of the Spirit not be more glorious? ~ 2nd Corinthians 3:7-8

The Holy Spirit touches us all and can only be noticed
by those humble in the air of His greatness.

For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of
righteousness exceeds much more in glory. ~ 2nd Corinthians 3:9

The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those
who trust in Him shall be condemned. ~ Psalms 34:22

No glory is greater than His sacrifice bringing souls to the
threshold of eternal presence. Our faith is trust in Him.
There is light at the end of the tunnel for all who believe.

Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust
in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 1:9-10

And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from
the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him. ~ Psalms 37:40

Only God has the power to save souls. Our choices in life will come
to His judgment as we rise from the earth to face His light.
Our faith is in this resurrection to eternal life.

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and trust in Him. ... ~ Psalms 64:10

Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust Him.
~ Proverbs 30:5

The shield of the Lord protects our hearts.

Trust is where love meets God
Jesus tells us to have faith in God
Faith is trust in God to come
Trust in Him guards the heart from anxiety
Trusting in riches blocks entrance to His kingdom
Money cannot redeem a life
Trust in God who gives all wealth
We need to guard the precious truth given of God
One cannot commend oneself; God gives approval
The word strengthens the spirit of one’s heart
Faith establishes trust through Christ toward God
Our sufficiency comes by the Spirit of God
Ministry of righteousness exceeds condemnation
Do not trust in oneself but in God who raises the dead

Trust in Him has many Rewards

5/21/2017 ~ Faith Comes by the Word

  FaithComesByWord.mp3 (35m 40s)

  FaithbyWord.pptx

Darkness has no liberation.
Faith is greater than what one can know.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction, ... ~ 2nd Timothy 3:16-17

... I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God
to salvation for everyone who believes, ... ~ Romans 1:16

The gospel of Christ is the power of God revealing our path to salvation.

... that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these
to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. ~ 2nd Timothy 2:2

... the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith ... ~ Romans 1:17

... partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, ... ~ Ephesians 3:1-6

If one does not believe God had His hand upon what has
been delivered in written form, then one doubts the power of God.
Faith has no question of His clarity which has been once
delivered for all the saints that follow Him.

... the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came
through the revelation of Jesus Christ. ~ Galatians 1:11-12

See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand!
~ Galatians 6:11

... I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly
for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. ~ Jude 1:3

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, ...
~ Romans 15:4

Faith by design calls from afar.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for;
the evidence of things not seen. ~ Hebrews 11:1

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
~ Colossians 1:15

... acknowledge that the things which I write to you are
the commandments of the Lord. ~ 1st Corinthians 14:37

His Word is our means to understand His will.

... I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your
pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words ...
~ 2nd Peter 3:1-2

... learn in us not to think beyond what is written, ... ~ 1st Corinthians 4:6

"Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith." ~ Habakkuk 2:4

Instructions are clear not to exalt self above His word.

... when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you
welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, ...
~ 1st Thessalonians 2:13

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
~ Romans 10:17

How do we get the faith God wants us to have?

For we walk by faith, not by sight. ~ 2nd Corinthians 5:7

... without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who
comes to God must believe that He is, ... ~ Hebrews 11:6

It comes by believing in what has been written.

... by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge
in the mystery of Christ), ... ~ Ephesians 3:4

For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
~ Acts 20:27

He asks us to simply believe.

... receive with meekness the implanted word,
which is able to save your souls. ~ James 1:21

"... blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!" ~ Luke 11:28

His Word delivers what we need to survive
All Scripture is given for instruction in righteousness
God’s righteousness is revealed from faith to faith
God’s grace gives us understanding & knowledge
The gospel came through the revelation of Christ
Our common salvation is in one faith once delivered
Scripture tones our patience and comforts in hope
Faith is larger than seeing in hope of what is better
Thinking beyond what is written leads to corruption
God’s word effectively works in those who believe
Faith comes by hearing, & hearing by God’s word
Faith in His truth pleases God in a call to seek Him
Paul stated the whole counsel of God for us to read
The implanted word is able to save your soul

5/21/2017 ~ The Faith

  TheFaith.mp3 (59m 03s)

  TheFaithAM.mp3 (44m 24s)

Second audio added 2/28/2021

  TheFaith.pptx

Darkness rides on the heels of nowhere.
Faith is the essence of what one believes.

... called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, ... ~ Ephesians 4:4-6

It is God that declares what is and what He has devised as
His saving Grace. Man cannot change what God has ordained.

There is One Faith Given by God
  ● One body
  ● One Spirit
  ● One hope of your calling
  ● One Lord
  ● One faith
  ● One baptism
  ● One God and Father of all
                 → above all
                 → through all
                 → in you all

... run with endurance the race that is set before us, ... ~ Hebrews 12:1

God calls all to cease from sin and lead a life in His ways of
righteousness. This is not condemning arrogance rather a humble
noticing. Too many claim to know more than God has proclaimed.
They refuse to look to Him more interested in their own.

... looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, ... ~ Hebrews 12:2-3

He has devised it so as to have a most personal relationship in the faith,
and He has constructed it. Faith is an individual connection to what He
has brought in the truth of His righteousness. This endurance comes
from the gut of each who bears with it delivered from above.

... keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. ~ Revelation 14:12

The truth cannot be changed to fit the whims of man.
His truth has been written for each heart to reach out in quest of Him.

... so that your faith and hope are in God. ~ 1st Peter 1:20-21

To really believe in God becomes the greatest thriving force in living.
Each of us carries a cross. We decide to endure or slip into the quick
sands of destruction. Our faith is equally intermingled with the hope we
seek. The Faith requires a belief in a resurrected Jesus and regard
for the power of God to rule over the misgivings of man.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. ...
~ 2nd Corinthians 13:5

To be in The Faith is a question of knowing.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."
A serious humble heart cannot deny the truth of a much greater
reality where the earth is just a shadow in a moment left behind.

... But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept
for the faith which would afterward be revealed. ~ Galatians 3:22-23

The law was the prelude to the faith.
Expected obedience, and punishment for subsequent sin forgiven,
is in those faithful to Him and His ways.

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, ...
~ Romans 3:21-22

It is through faith in Jesus that God has delivered His greatest
righteousness revealed, in the sacrifice of His love. He welcomes those
wise enough to apply the simplest of instructions to live in and under the
goodness found in Him and His creation. All that rise to Him openly know
the truth of this, what He has once delivered to be recognized.

... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified
freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, ...
~ Romans 3:23-24

Grace comes by God and through Jesus.
It is God who has established this, and neither can it be superseded
or replaced by constructions from the fantasies of man. To disregard
His ways is the greatest travesty a soul will ever encounter upon that
equal rejection in an air of superiority to His will. All will be humbled
in that final judgment through the shame of our lacking holiness.

... to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might
be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. ~ Romans 3:25-26

Faith in the life of Jesus is what brings on eternal life in the realizations
of all that is higher. He gave up His life so that we might possess our own.

... were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He
has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, ...
~ Colossians 1:21-22

... continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved
away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, ... ~ Colossians 1:23

Many people despise God and fail to consider why He is and what He
has done. He created us, for good works in Him, Christ, and that makes
one accountable to Him. We did not create ourselves. Sinners with no
regard, other than self, live in a cloud of isolated condemnation, generally
angry and or bitter. To acquire saving grace one must remain in Him and
loyal to achieving a greater stance in obedience to His called for ways.

This does not leave excuse open for discussion as no is no and yes is
yes. The truth of The Faith is unlocked in the gospel (Bible) given to all
mankind. As He is the author of our Faith, He is supremely over all, and
His guiding force Has delivered what is sufficient, not being a God of
confusion, truth has been given to us all. To be unsure or doubt His will
requires a greater humbling in beseeching requests to know His wisdom.

... I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly
for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. ~ Jude 1:3

God wants us to focus wholeheartedly, and
most importantly, to what He is asking of us to remain in His creation.
Time is inconsequential in the higher nature of what He is seeking
from the hearts of the souls that return to Him.

... received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him
and established in the faith, as you have been taught, ... ~ Colossians 2:6-7

The classroom is the heart of all men.
The heart is like a spider web that catches flies putrefying the nobility of
a pure conscience. No one can know the heart of another and it is by the
spirit one answers to being. In the tree of life Jesus supports all truth.
Receiving Him is mandatory, granting entrance to the grace offered
by Him, in His Faith. God will only accept the genuine as
He casts off the superficial. Get real is the call of God.

... stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together
for the faith of the gospel, ... ~ Philippians 1:27

It is our conduct that God closely watches, even closer than we see
ourselves. To remain casual about God is to live as a recluse as His call
is for unity, in the truth of one way, in the spirit of truth He has delivered.

Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied ...
and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. ~ Acts 6:7

As from faith to faith, we edify each other when we adhere to His ways.
His plan of faith comforts all who enter.

... And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith ...
~ Revelation 2:13

Jesus specifically proclaims that it is His faith that He calls us out to be in.
He asks us to remain faithful until that parting moment comes, from the
mortal flesh that confines us. The test is will we come to God or leave
under the duress of living without Him? His design of faith is one of
purpose. Our life is our choice to rise in His light or fall back in loneliness
enhanced by self inflicted darkness, succumbing to the evils of Satan’s
temptations, for material gratification, over thankfulness for what simply is.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times
some will depart from the faith, ... ~ 1st Timothy 4:1-3

To be removed from conscience is the dreadfulness of humanity, or
the lack of it. Stubborn hearts only see self over the greater truth in Him.
There is no disguise to protect the insincere from His coming wrath. The
Faith has been delivered to those that believe in His given truths.

... these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds,
disapproved concerning the faith; ~ 2nd Timothy 3:8

For those that resist the truth create the corruption
by which their own destruction will come.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some
have strayed from the faith in their greediness, ... ~ 1st Timothy 6:10

Love of anything less than God seeks death over life.
God has made a temporary universe to test His infinite creatures,
be they loyal or rebellious. It is our desires and the direction they take us
that defines each of our destinations, heaven or hell. Greedy hearts are
not contrite hearts. To know The Faith is to repent of that which takes
us away from it, the goodness intended in the freedom of living.
No blessing is greater than God given life.

... if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those
of his household, he has denied the faith ... ~ 1st Timothy 5:8

Many thumb their fist at creation mired in disgust
missing thankfulness in the love of the Creator.

... idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge - by
professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. ... ~ 1st Timothy 6:20-21

Without regarding His word as precious, it reduces to insignificant,
as man and his ways take precedence.

"... Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes,
will He really find faith on the earth?" ~ Luke 18:8

A crying shame that the Bible even asks if the faith will be upon the earth,
as Jesus gazes, near to His coming. God’s return is certain when man
discards all thoughts of Him and His declared ways of decency.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. ~ 1st Corinthians 16:13

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
~ 2nd Timothy 4:7

Great satisfaction comes by keeping the faith and
overcoming those temptations that weaken the heart.

... Greet those who love us in the faith. ... ~ Titus 3:15

All who love in pureness cannot deny grace comes by being in Him.

Faith is God’s Invitation to Come
There is one faith
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith
Saints keep the laws of God and the faith of Jesus
Christ’s rising is so that your faith & hope are in God
Examine yourself as to whether you are in the faith
Before faith came we were under guard by the law
God’s righteousness is shown through faith in Christ
Continue in the faith firm in the hope of the gospel
The faith was once for all delivered to the saints
Be established in the faith, as taught, thankfully
Be in one mind striving for the faith of the gospel
Do not deny My faith as some will depart the faith
By resisting the truth one strays from the faith

The Faith comes by the Word of God.
Darkness seals the trap removing all light.

6/18/2017 ~ Forgiveness

  Forgiveness.mp3 (35m 23s)

  Forgiveness.pptx

Darkness is a well of nowhere.
Forgiveness is an integral part of our faith as Christians.
Forgiveness is key in understanding God and what He expects of us.

"To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness,
though we have rebelled against Him." ~ Daniel 9:9

In rebellion against God, His mercy and forgiveness remain
as offered to each of us. He is the source we need to consider.

... our fathers acted proudly, Hardened their necks, And did not heed
Your commandments. They refused to obey, ... ~ Nehemiah 9:16-17

God is forgiving a people who are not worthy; the Israelites leaving Egypt.
Forgiveness is not necessarily deserving
because one suddenly becomes worthy.

"... says the Lord GOD: I do not do this for your sake, ..." ~ Ezekiel 36:21-25

God forgave those unworthy to show His nature and righteousness.

... you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good;
and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and
your abominations. Not for your sake do I do this," says the Lord GOD, ...
~ Ezekiel 36:31-33

He did this not only to show Himself, but so we could see our own wicked
ways in rebellion against Him, and to repent in thankfulness for Him.
His nature shows us what He expects in our own nature.

... flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these
are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
~ Galatians 5:17

It is hard to obey the spirit as the flesh wars against our better judgment.
Carnal desires go against what is righteous. Many find an unforgiving
heart easier, rather than forgiving one who has violated you. God made
a decision to forgive the unworthy to expose who He was. Forgiveness
is not a feeling, it is a decision. God did not feel good about those He
forgave. One may never feel good against the perpetrator. Forgiveness
releases anger and frees one to love. It is done to heal yourself, and it is
for you, more than the offender. It is a temptation not to hold a forgiving
heart, and it goes against nature not to have one. It is a way of living.

"... how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? ..."
~ Matthew 18:21-27

Again, to know God is to learn of His ways in what has been written.
Seventy times seven is 490.
It is a principle of heart, always ready to forgive.

Forgiveness is a Principle of Heart
   7 x 70 = 490
   7 x Daily

"... So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart,
does not forgive his brother his trespasses." ~ Matthew 18:28-35

The Word warns against a bitter heart.
An unforgiving heart is a tortuous thing.

"... if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in
heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive,
neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses." ~ Mark 11:25-26

As God forgave us, we are now in a state of temporary transience. He
expects that we show the same character, and it is by His nature that we
are shown what is best for us, in obtaining that coveted pureness of heart,
in all good conscience. Without forgiveness, love is all but elusive.

"... if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also
forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither
will your Father forgive your trespasses." ~ Matthew 6:12-15

Forgiveness of others is a big deal with God,
and it hinges on how He will judge us.

"Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him;
and if he repents, forgive him. ..." ~ Luke 17:3-4

How BIG is the warning not to fall into a bitter heart. Compassion for
others who would attempt to be genuine should never be turned away.
This is the command from God.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy.
Mercy triumphs over judgment. ~ James 2:13

'The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and
transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, ...' ~ Numbers 14:18

It is about mercy, not insignificance where justice deserves punishment.
God declares that the guilty will account for their actions. There is
consequences for our actions. Not being able to forgive tires
a heart and divides our true relationship with God.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave
them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; ...
unforgiving ... those who practice such things are deserving of death, ...
~ Romans 1:28-32

It is written, an unforgiving heart is worthy of death.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 6:23

To embrace sin knowing His will is to reject Him. It is a fact none sinful are
worthy of forgiveness. God has given us a way to heal in His view. His
word heals in bringing us back to our good senses. Without turning back
to God and His call for goodness, we run the risk of rebellion in His sight.
This is not how one wants to meet the maker of all creation.

Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." ...
~ Luke 23:34

Jesus did not feel good about those who murdered Him, and yet He
forgave them, as they did it. We too are under this temporary grace era,
before His judgment will become final. Opportunity is like a string, which
either can turn into a saving rope, or snapped away into the abyss. He
watches as He calls for us to behave in all righteousness.

... I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but
I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. ~ 1st Timothy 1:13-14

God takes into account individual hearts and it is fortunate He is the
judge, and not us. May His mercy extend more than we are able.
To be in Christ one must accept his love in faith.

... Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings
from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; ... ~ Isaiah 1:15-18

We know God does not hear sinners, so how can He hear us?
It is when our will power becomes stronger than the flesh which
deceives us. It is when we hear His call to wash ourselves
and put away evil and learn to do good.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us
into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. ~ Colossians 1:13-14

It is in Christ that we have the forgiveness of sins.

"... that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;
and by Him everyone who believes is justified ..." ~ Acts 13:38-39

To be justified in the sight of God one must believe in Jesus. This takes in
to account all that He was and not to question that He was not. The trend
of man is to replace God with religions and or beliefs of convenience,
where accountability is nullified. In God, it is not so without Him. Do you
hear that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God?

"Him God has exalted to His right hand to be a Prince and Savior,
to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins." ~ Acts 5:31

Would God not be God? It is God who is offering us forgiveness,
and it has been plainly shown to those who believe
as well as those who would not.

"... 'to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from
the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgivness of sins and an
inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.' " ~ Acts 26:18

To be forgiven of sins, one must be sanctified by faith in Christ.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace ... ~ Ephesians 1:7-9

We are not worthy of His grace, but by believing
and following His ways, His will is fulfilled in our return.

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from
you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving
one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. ~ Ephesians 4:31-32

There is no laughter where prayers have no regret
  Put away all:
     ● Bitterness
     ● Wrath
     ● Anger
     ● Clamor
     ● Evil speaking
     ● Malice
Be to one another:
     ● Kind
     ● Tenderhearted
     ● Forgiving

For us to be free in spirit, we must become more like God.
His word instructs us with the medical precision of a surgeon.

Forgiveness allows an entrance unto eternity
God is forgiving people who are not worthy
God forgives to show his righteousness & his nature
We forgive to show our nature in righteousness
Forgiveness is not a feeling, it is a decision
We must have forgiving hearts to receive forgiveness
It is about mercy, not insignificance
Forgiveness is a way of life god demands
All have sinned worthy of death
We need Jesus’s sacrifice to have our sins forgiven
He forgives those that humbly turn to Him
He forgave to show us how to forgive
We can only be justified through belief Jesus
Redemption/forgiveness comes through His death

It is God who shows us how to forgive.
Darkness leaves nothing to turn on.

Darkness has no glow.
The belief in once saved always saved has
no merit as scripture refutes this misnomer.

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of
heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." ~ Matthew 7:21

Without submitting to God’s will,
salvation is not an option for those choosing not to.

... since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own
steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; ... ~ 2nd Peter 3:17

Once saved always saved has in it a green light to act in any manner.
Clearly God’s word proclaims one can fall away if choices
are made to pursue wicked behavior.

... impossible for those who were once enlightened, ... if they fall away,
to renew them again to repentance, ... ~ Hebrews 6:4-6

In truth one can fall away from His grace and mercy if choices are made
to turn back to a habitual sinful life. This would be those who fall upon the
stony ground and turn back to old desires, not in accordance with His will
of declared goodness. Delusional creations of man such as once saved
always saved are not supported in the truth He gives. Humble hearts do
not argue with what has been delivered, and why argue to excuse sin?
It is common for man to excuse himself with false principles, and by
collecting the largest possible crowd, the made-up
perception becomes foolishly accepted.

... But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
~ James 1:21-22

And it is His good word that expresses salvation
through His sacrifice to set us free.

Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who
does not condemn himself in what he approves. ~ Romans 14:22

Each of us is a seed waiting to either blossom or wither as eternity unveils
itself. Confidence in faith comes through a pure uncondemning heart.

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith
but does not have works? Can faith save him? ~ James 2:14

Faith alone does not have the depth of a mature spiritual life.
Even the demons believe and tremble. By works character of commitment
to goodness is exposed. Yes, we can not be saved by works as salvation
is a gift of His grace, however, ungodly works will most definitely deny
access to His grace without a sincere repenting heart intimately searching
out for His will; while obediently striving for love of in Him. Faith alone
leans to an edge of nowhere. Boldly, it takes a lot of illusionary faith to
have brazen faith without good works. The daredevil believes he will
survive without all the precautions to ensure safety. He goes over
Niagara falls and wonders why he left the oxygen tank and fins
behind as the swirling currents consumes him. Death not only
comes by ignorance, but by lack of action, and faith only.

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. ... ~ James 2:17-18

Words without Deeds is air without lungs

                Faith by itself = Death
    Works without Faith = Death
                Faith + Works = Salvation

I am defines the soul and by its’ works comes either brilliance or
dimness of character. Walk the talk is a spiritual must if salvation is
to be had. The biggest regret when we meet God is that we did not do
enough to honor Him. Faith is not an act of isolation. Many intellectuals
delve into the intellectualism of argument and in their self-absorption,
they miss the act of simply doing for others.

You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
~ James 2:24

Contrary to popular belief, faith alone will not justify one
in the face of His coming judgment. Each of us needs justification
through the sacrifice of the cross. We each need to diligently
carry that cross to the doorstep of eternity.

(for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God,
but the doers of the law will be justified; ... ~ Romans 2:13-15

Truth of heart has weight.
Conscience is vital in developing spiritual strength.

... my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others,
I myself should become disqualified. ~ 1st Corinthians 9:27

God’s will for each of us is to have control over impulsive desires
that oppress others. He has no desire for hypocrites and only
considers sincere hearts. Not just does He ask that we bring
our bodies into subjection to His ways, but to remain overall
in subjection to Him seeking Him diligently.

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves.
Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? - unless indeed
you are disqualified. ~ 2nd Corinthians 13:5

Either one hits the mark or not. To miss this spiritual bullseye is to
throw out the entire game. Christianity is all about soul searching.
Again, faith is not an act of isolation. Faith is not a casual event.

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable,
disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. ~ Titus 1:16

So many claim faith but fail to live in the good works He demands.

... "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"
Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God,
that you believe in Him whom He sent." ~ John 6:28-29

His word clearly states that belief itself is a work not to be ignore as
casual. Faith can only be established in knowing Him and applying His
will. To deny works are required is the lunacy of those that would remain
arrogant disapproving in submitting to His declarations of truth.

"... I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me,
to give every one according to his work." ~ Revelation 22:12

Without doubt, we will be judged according to our works in life.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision
avails anything, but faith working through love. ~ Galatians 5:6

And it will be love that lifts us to the gates of bliss.
Love has to rise for the moment to be conquered.

... let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And by this
we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. ...
~ 1st John 3:18-21

Honor is found in honest hearts

  Not just in word

Love in Deed and in Truth

Words can be shallow without the depth of action. As we search to
know our hearts, guilt can be condemning in the face of His forgiveness.
In deed and truth we must humbly travel this journey into His Kingdom
climbing out from our sinful past.

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through Him. ~ Colossians 3:17

Thankfulness is the measure of peace one’s heart holds.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, ...
~ Ephesians 2:10

God Established Order before Creation
Prepared Beforhand = Good Works
We = Created in Christ Jesus
Good Works = Should Walk in Them

How can anyone think God will not judge us in the light of His goodness?
Jesus Christ is the standard by which we were all created through,
whether we admit it or not. God originally created goodness for us
to walk (live) in, and yet, it is a choice pursued, or not, by free spirits.
Fading darkness is not hidden in our eventual return to His pure light,
as His love has freely released us to ourselves. Will we rise
to His light or fall into the darkness?

So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. ~ Romans 14:12

Each of us shall face God alone as it is His gift to us, ourselves.

... who "will render to each one according to his deeds": ... ~ Romans 2:6-8

The music of heaven plays truth
  According to Deeds
 ⭩                               ⭨
       Eternal Life                          Indignation
               ↓                                  and Wrath

            ● Glory                             ⮡  The Truth
            ● Honor                                 ↓
            ● Immortality            Unrighteousness

Sermons never end, they only take pause. One man departs while
another arrives. Generous spirits endure the test of time
while self-seeking achievers are quickly forgotten.

Without works in Him Faith has no worth
Salvation is for those doing the will of God
Beware of being led away in errors of the wicked
It is not "once saved always saved" when falling away
One must turn to the word and respond for salvation
We were created for good works in Christ Jesus
Without good works, faith alone will not save you
Conscience is vital in writing His word on the heart
Without self-control = spiritually disqualified
Works counter to His will ban one from salvation
To believe in God requires action upon His calls
Faith working through love is our key
God is greater than our guilt as we heal to Him
God will render judgment based on our deeds

A working faith inherits His promise.
Darkness endlessly falls into nowhere.

Darkness extends where nothing grows.
In the fruit of His Spirit we are made alive.

"You will know them by their fruits. ..." ~ Matthew 7:16-18

Many types of fruit exist in the kingdom of His glory.

"Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into
the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them." ~ Matthew 7:19-20

Bearing good fruits is to His glory and benefits are for all involved.
In bowl of life, as joy mixes with sadness, what our heart
remains true to rises to the sustenance that we are.
Do we share goodness growing in all we eat?

"Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, ..." ~ Matthew 3:8

Poor choices in life lead to destruction without regard for His ways.
Belief in God with obedience stands out against decadent social norms.

... Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness,
righteousness, and truth), finding what is acceptable to the Lord.
~ Ephesians 5:8-10

Fruits of Children of Light
● All Goodness
● Righeousness
● Truth

He calls to us as children of light whereas He demands we care
for His truth, and in goodness apply righteousness to our lives.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather expose them. ... ~ Ephesians 5:11-12

Darkness goes beyond despicable and should be revealed
as it is darkness. By not holding darkness accountable
it only invades the light where the peaceful abide.

For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed?
For the end of those things is death. ~ Romans 6:20-21

The putrid remains surrounding us all. Without noticing
God's call to righteousness, one’s shame has no mercy.

... having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have
your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. ... ~ Romans 6:22-23

To seek Him out sets one free from the bondage of death’s onslaught.
The fruit we choose defines who we are.

"A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and
he came seeking fruit on it and found none. ... ~ Luke 13:6-7

Many of those who have disgust for the godly have not yet realized
His glory to come. The Lord waits watching to see who desires Him
as His Word has clearly been delivered.

"... 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it
bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.'" ~ Luke 13:8-9

He is saying, “Wait until the light of God might change it to bear fruit.”
The seed code:
Each of us is a seed yet to be born blossoming into His kingdom.
It is what type of fertilizer we choose to be surrounded in that
reveals if we come to maturity or remain stagnant, even to the
detrimental point of remaining permanently dormant. There
comes a point that a seed looses its’ ability to germinate.
Pray God cold hearts turn back to His warming light.

"... a tree is known by its fruit." ~ Matthew 12:33

The light of the heart forces character
as it nurtures goodness or spews badness.

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things,
and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil ..." ~ Matthew 12:35

The seed in the heart of man uncovers one’s true character.
He calls for seeds to bring forth rather than continuing as hidden.
Let your light shine is His message for life.

... and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind,
whose seed is in itself, ... ~ Genesis 1:11

There are many seeds but in each is identity to remain whole.
Good seed is not the same as bad seed, and blessed are those that know
the difference. Without knowledge, the fruits of wisdom have no blossom.
One must choose carefully in order to keep weeds at a distance in
cultivating knowledge. We are gardeners of our own lives.

"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God." ~ Luke 8:11

... having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the word of God which lives and abides forever, ... ~ 1st Peter 1:23

It is what we as individuals immerse ourselves into
that defines who we are. The word of God instills moral fiber
while other written or pictorial materials may tear from that decency.

"... fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a
noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience." ~ Luke 8:14-15

Each of us that approaches His mercy, and grace, helps one navigate
through the thorns of life. Unfortunate for us all, and our children, is
that we are within a spiritual drought, a devouring famine for the
lack of knowledge in God’s Word. Without God, hearts splinter
into loosing the love we were meant to have.

... until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for
the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it ... ~ James 5:7-9

Time is truly relative as we endlessly meet our master and creator.
Often ignored is His very presence waiting on the door of each heart.

Now no chastening seems to be joyfull for the present, but painful;
nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness
to those who have been trained by it. ~ Hebrews 12:11

Peace is something worked for. Welcoming correction only refines
and hones the soul to better arrive where peace has no end.

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
~ James 3:18

He rewards the seeking diligent with fruits of peace,
in love, where joy remains untouched by the defiled.

... But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. ~ Galatians 5:22-24

And so it comes to the fruits we choose that declares our destination.
To pursue Spirit over that of the flesh has eternal treasure in the
garden of His light. May our bowls eternally be filled in Him.

... love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren
nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ~ 2nd Peter 1:5-8

As we grow as Christians, we integrate those things that strengthen
our character bringing us closer to His divine nature, as instructed.

Many of the fruits of Spirit work in concert with each other. To relinquish
or ignore any one part can compromise the effectiveness of them all.
To fall short is not to stand tall. And without the fruits of the Spirit,
where does one’s faith fall? Either oblivion or heaven knocks on
the heart as we live upon this game of endurance. As we mature,
what we grow into comes from what we feed ourselves with.

The fruit of His truth cleanses all
You will know them by their fruits
Bear fruits worthy of repentance
Fruit/Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, & truth
No fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness
Fruit of holiness brings everlasting life
Be patient for fruit to develop after being fertilized
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks
Fruit grows whose seed is in itself
Noble and good hearts keep the word and bear fruit
Chastening yields peaceable fruit of righteousness
Fruit of righteousness is peace
Fruit/Spirit - love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness,
      - goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control

Good fruits shine forth from godly spirits.
Darkness has no place to go.

The fruit of life is best in accordance with HIS WILL.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. ~ Proverbs 18:21

To be innocent of condemnation one’s words must be wisely placed.
The reckless have no permanent home other than anguish.

... Be ready in season and out of season. ... ~ 2nd Timothy 4:2

Fruits come in all colors such as in speaking.
Producing fruit utters the oracles of God, always being ready,
with longsuffering, in the glory of teaching His ways.

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.
By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. ... ~ Proverbs 8:14-16

The fruit of wisdom has an accumulation of many diverse
attributes with the single source being that of God Himself.

... those who seek me diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me,
Enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yes, than
fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver. ~ Proverbs 8:17-19

Where does good fruit dwell? It is the treasure of the heart.

... I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth,
That I may fill their treasuries. ~ Proverbs 8:20-21

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable,
gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, ... ~ James 3:17

Good fruits of spirit are welcomed in the heart of all men.

... Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the
courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; ... ~ Psalms 92:13-15

Habits define the soul.
What one is planted in renders either strength or weakness
in days of trouble. To be sure is in the priceless moment we live.

"... will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit." ~ Jeremiah 17:8

He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth
its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; ... ~ Psalms 1:3

Fruit is developed by which nutrients the roots consume,
and whether the ground is fertile or barren. If one finds that parched
wasteland underfoot, run and or come to better ground, in Him, is His call.
If employed, time is made available to heal the spirit saving the soul, no
matter the external conditions. Accepting His love has enormous effects.

... look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who
reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, ... ~ John 4:35-36

As sowing leads to reaping,
one must be present at the harvest to partake in that reaping.
We are called to reap upon that which has already been sown.

"... 'One sows and another reaps.' I sent you to reap that for
which you have not labored; ..." ~ John 4:37-38

God put in place those things previously sown for us to be able
to reap the rewards which are currently offered to His children.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 6:23

"For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord GOD.
"Therefore turn and live!" ~ Ezekiel 18:32

Christ sacrificed His life so we could have access to eternal life.
His field is planted across the four corners of time.

... we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh,
the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work
in our members to bear fruit to death. ~ Romans 7:4-5

Do you hang on the flesh more than bearing the fruits God calls out for?
The balance in life comes by that which blesses higher
over that which consumes lower.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows,
that he will also reap. ... ~ Galatians 6:7-9

The spirit is deeper than the flesh. If the flesh is made to
dominate the spirit, higher qualities such as mercy are inactive.
God watches to see who will control the flesh through the spirit.

One’s desires define eventual destination
Sows to the Flesh = Reaps Corruption
Sows to the Spirit = Reaps Everlasting Life

... Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every
branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. ... ~ John 15:1-3

Without knowledge of His word, one’s eternal security
is precariously perched in jeopardy of being cast off.
Jesus is the gardener nurturing that which grows back to Him.

"... I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him,
bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." ~ John 15:4-5

Do we carry the fruit Jesus would have us to have? Through Him
good fruit abounds. While God remains in our proximity, we have the
opportunity to be redeemed. Without acknowledging what He has
seriously done for us, giving us life, our very existence is at risk.

... but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit,
and that your fruit should remain, ... ~ John 15:6-7

Destruction is assured for those that deny His redeeming presence and
apathetically produce nothing and or undesirable fruits of wickedness.

"By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit;
so you will be My disciples." ~ John 15:8

And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet
urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful. ~ Titus 3:14

Fruit has its’ sweetest array when it arises plentiful in Him.

... be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with
the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, ... ~ Philippians 1:9-11

The Godly Spirit of Purpose Endures
● your love abound in knowledge
                  and all discernment
● approve things that are excellent
● be sincere and without offense
● filled with fruits of righteousness

It is clear what the Lord wants for us to be in. It is our honorable pursuit
to obtain the best results possible in His ways where glory shines.

... walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good
work and increasing in the knowledge of God; ... ~ Colossians 1:10

Fruits declare thoughts and a soul’s nature
Death and life comes by the fruit one speaks
Be ready with all longsuffering and teaching
Wisdom is of the most precious of fruits
Planted in the house of the LORD endures the ages
No drought can halt righteous fruit
The righteous bring forth fruit in its season
The harvest is here as we reap the labors of others
We should bear fruit to God
Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap
Without God one can do nothing
Those not abiding in Him will be cast out
God is glorified by our fruits of righteousness
Be filled with fruits of righteousness by Jesus Christ

His fruit is in all that is good.
Darkness is the destination where evil resides.

Darkness is lost for any clarity.
Truth is the highest of all ideals.

Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth. ~ John 17:17

For the word of the Lord is right, And all His work is done in truth.
~ Psalms 33:4

The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your
righteous judgments endures forever. ~ Psalms 119:160

In the motions of time His Words enlighten the soul.
We live in disturbing times where trust challenges any of all truths.
Does contempt drive us, or seeking that which is truly higher?

The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
~ Psalms 145:18

Delivered by the hand of God Himself,
truth holds the light of His just goodness.

"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
~ John 4:24

The pages of His light are found in His Word.

... fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, ... ~ Joshua 24:14

From the depths of being comes forth true desire.

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." ~ John 8:32

Truth has a ring springing up from the marrow of life.
To know is the light of who we are.

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part
You will make me to know wisdom. ~ Psalms 51:6

From the innermost parts of thought He commands we know. What we
know defines what we are. Blessed are all those who are able to remain
as spotless (sinless) as possible from falling from His presence in truth.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth
came through Jesus Christ. ~ John 1:17

The law was given to endlessly show His mercy
and grace above the fobbing's of man.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. ~ John 1:14

His light brings truth into a liars world.

"... for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to
the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice." ... ~ John 18:37-38

Christ came to explicitly reveal the truth of God.
The Roman government declared the innocence of Christ.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me." ~ John 14:6

Direction with, in the truth of, purpose drives one’s compass.

"... the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees
Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you
and will be in you." ~ John 14:17

In the field of life’s quest, His is an upwelling truth
invigorating the spirit to continue on.

... it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. ~ 1st John 5:6

His blood of life and presence of being blesses all who would know Him.

Spirit touches all that is true
    Spirit = Truth

"... now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit
and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him." ~ John 4:23

God’s greatest desire is that we return to Him in love.

"... from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father,
He will testify of Me." ~ John 15:26

Without His light of truth the soul lacks His Spiritual inspirations.

"... when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; ..."
~ John 16:13

By the Spirit truth lives, past the shallow fading's of flesh.

Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we
might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. ~ James 1:18

His sacrifice allows us to see ourselves in creation’s becoming.
We are His creatures especially when we embrace the truth
He has delivered, as it is, truth.

... acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope
of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, ...
~ Titus 1:1-3

To acknowledge the truth is to embrace godliness
in hope of all His promises.

I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also
bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, ... ~ Romans 9:1

Truth comes clean and straight, and it is by nature
innate to the creation of God.

... we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in
His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. ~ 1st John 5:20

Everyone who comes to His light of truth finds
a healing of spirit rising past all mortal afflictions.

... after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom
also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who
is the guarantee of our inheritance ... ~ Ephesians 1:13-14

In all the oceans of experience His glory is greater than can be seen
or known. In this, eternity opens before us all. There is nothing
casual about sincere belief where actions are spawned.

Truth Comes by the Word of God
God’s word is truth
The entirety of Your word is truth
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him in truth
We are called to worship in spirit and truth
To serve Him in sincerity and in truth
The truth shall make you free
God desires truth in our inward parts
Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ of the Father is full of grace and truth
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life
The Spirit is truth
The Spirit of truth has guided us into all truth
God cannot lie

Truth unlocks the keys of Spirit.
Darkness has nothing new.

Time is His creation to test a souls desire, be it giving or taking.

Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction
and understanding. ~ Proverbs 23:23

Eyes on the prize catches the glory.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not
need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ~ 2nd Timothy 2:15

Each of us has a piece of realities puzzle.
Finding who we are and why we are makes what living is.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, ... ~ Ephesians 6:14-15

God wants people to understand what He has delivered,
and to be able to apply these principles, as a way of life.
His sacrifice on the cross is our sword of truth.

... they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears
away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. ~ 2nd Timothy 4:2-4

The only way to surely know God is to read His word and
understand His will for man and the proper behavior of a soul.
Many are diametrically opposed to His word with
false beliefs as a matter of convenience.

... who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is
already past; and they overthrow the faith of some. ~ 2nd Timothy 2:18

Without the Bible we would not have the knowledge He promised would
endure throughout all generations. It is the gift of His Spirit for
us to autonomously know, and it is a choice to return or not.
The truth of Jesus travels behind the veil. We see the light
behind the door because we believe the truth He has given.

"... have not made our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might
turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth." ~ Daniel 9:13

People tend to talk with themselves not noticing
earnest and genuine dialog directly with God Himself.
Absorbed self-seekers are challenged in all higher order contemplations.

... Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works
righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; ~ Psalms 15:1-2

Home is a state of mind either experienced by the freedom or relief
it gives verses a prison of confinement in drudgery that steals peace
in heart. It is the heart that defines home no matter location.

We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does
not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
~ 1st John 4:6

What makes a godlily spirit is one who is willing to listen; to not deny
or dismiss, fairly discussing God’s Word. Many who claim religious
superiority are unwilling to yield stubborn opinions of man or woman’s
doctrines over simply submitting to the plain Word. Man manipulates
through complexity where God’s message is that of the simplest of
requests, obey. Hard to apply in a world of temptations and deception. It is
the nature of many to judge and complain, and avoid, while not listening,
and in this one can see the spirit of error or willingness to examine His
truth. Alignment is right when with God and not dogmatically rigid to man’s
devising. This is when people drink poison laced Kool-Aid, burn to death
in buildings, and commit suicide in beds wearing white tennis-shoes,
while waiting for a passing comet; God does not call for fanatics.

"But let your Yes' be Yes, and your No, No. For whatever is
more than these is from the evil one." ~ Matthew 5:37

The truth has no confusion. Scripture teaches us about absolute
right and wrong and what God expects from His creatures.

The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue
is but for a moment. ~ Proverbs 12:19

What we speak is who we are.
Too often spite can bite and without remorse, love may not have its’
healing influence. God will review the entirety of all of our puzzle pieces
done in the flesh. The flesh is given to expose the heart.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
~ 1st John 1:8

To leap away from the truth is to embrace deception where there is no
transparency. Light is what is seen over anything hidden in the dark.
It can sometimes be hard to see or admit the truth.

For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
~ 2nd Corinthians 13:8

Putting truth together has been the struggle of all generations.

Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, ...
~ Proverbs 3:3

Mercy is our ability to have compassion on those less fortunate,
be it both materially and or spiritually.

Love ... rejoices in the truth; ~ 1st Corinthians 13:4-6

Love’s greatest beacon is honesty.

My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue,
but in deed and in truth. ~ 1st John 3:18

The heart if in love is simple; a union deeper than flesh.

... in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren,
love one another fervently with a pure heart, ... ~ 1st Peter 1:22-23

To find His truth takes sincerity of heart.

... hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before
in the word of the truth of the gospel, ... ~ Colossians 1:5-6

Knowing the Word reveals the will of God
and hope for our individual welfare under His grace.

(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. ~ Ephesians 5:9-10

Righteous goodness is found in pursuit of
pleasing His will and honoring His glory in that we are.

Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; ...
~ Psalms 25:5

To unlock truth one must have faith in that which cannot be seen. Most of
all that is real is not viewable for the shear reason of establishing eternal
reality over temporary moments. The key of truth stares us all in the face.

Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me,
O LORD God of truth. ~ Psalms 31:5

In committing to the Lord, this is when
diligent study reveals all that is higher in truth.

Truth fills all that He is
Buy the truth, and do not sell it
Be a worker rightly dividing the word of truth
People will turn away from the truth & to fables
Turn from iniquities and understand His truth
To abide in God one must speak the truth in heart
There is a spirit of truth and the spirit of error
Let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'
If we say that we have no sin the truth is not in us
Let not mercy and truth forsake you
Love rejoices in the truth
Love in deed and in truth
Purify your soul in obeying the truth
Fruit / Spirit = all goodness, righteousness, & truth

It is God that magnifies truth. It is the imagination
of man that twists truth away from what it is.

His truth delivers us.
Darkness has a bottomless loss of direction.

lest we drift away. ... ~ Hebrews 2:1-4

To miss the message given of God
leaves one powerless in the day of judgment.

let him be accursed. ~ Galatians 1:8-9

We are told to take up the sword of truth
and live with good wholesome courage.

if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, ... ~ Hebrews 6:4-6

The word is our cornerstone to the light from within.
It is the light of our hearts.

"But the word of the Lord endures forever." Now this is the word
which by the gospel was preached to you. ~ 1st Peter 1:25

His word was hand delivered by God Himself.

"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God." ~ Luke 8:11

What is planted in us is what we reflect.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. ... ~ John 1:1-5

His hand touches the truth for all mankind to know truth.

...He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and
His name is called The Word of God. ~ Revelation 19:13

There is no greater love than the sacrifice of God and His
conveyance of it to us. The sacrifice of His life for us, to have life,
and His deliverance of the truth of His eternal Spirt, has set us free.

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them
from their destructions. ~ Psalms 107:20

In remembrance of Him we are healed.

... I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. ... ~ Matthew 5:17-18

He has delivered us with the truth by the hand of God.

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words
will by no means pass away." ~ Matthew 24:35

His word is greater than all the storms the world could ever know.

"The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever." ~ Isaiah 40:8

Sweet is the smell of the word’s pureness.

... Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
~ Proverbs 30-5-6

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment
of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; ~ Psalms 19:8

How much we desire places what is important to our hearts.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy,
and keep those things which are written in it; ... ~ Revelation 1:3

It is one thing to hear the word, but to keep it,
apply it, is the challenge of us all.

10/15/2017 ~ Disciple

  Disciples.mp3 (46m 01s)

  Disciples2.mp3 (41m 39s)

Second version presented 1/3/21

  Disciples.pptx

Darkness surrenders to gloom.
He calls us to be disciples, that is students, with increasing understanding,
on our climb in Him. Without His knowledge we are crippled in knowing
God’s will for us. To be a disciple one must possess the desire to
acquire His truths. Disciples care for one another in honor of Him.

"If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother,
wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also,
he cannot be my disciple." ~ Luke 14:26

It is about putting God above all things including family and self, which
in turn then improves all relationships. Many of us can recall weeping
over the fears for our parents own death, as youths. With time, rebellion
over control inevitably leads to resentment, and those frustrations are
encountered by many as they grow toward adulthood. Disgust over
one’s own behavior is a sign of repentance and increases the deepening
matrimonial bonds all are challenged with. To come to Christ is to humbly
and honestly surrender your heart to Him past all of one’s past failings.
His is the success of all living. God above all does not want us
to deceive ourselves, but to live in honesty with self and others.

"And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me
cannot be My disciple." ~ Luke 14:27

What life has delivered, to each of us, is unique, yet we all have this in
common, suffering. It is natural to desire an escape from pain, but in how
we do it defines the character of our spirit. We all have seen many famous
financial wealthy individuals unable to bear the weight of their miseries;
substance abuses mask passing out (escaping) from reality. In Christ
He lifts us past those impossible heart aching weights, none can carry,
as His eternal light puts the temporary in perspective. The love
He renders is an easy yoke in its’ simple lifting truth.
To seek Him is to pray to Him.

"So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has
cannot be My disciple." ~ Luke 14:33

It is a question of desire. Are things and the lust for them more valuable
than one single breath of life? Purpose is what tracks our paths in life. And
this life, if it is only a shell to impulsively satisfy, is one missing the sense
something eternally much more? Each step at times can be grueling, in
view of the losses life exposes, which brings about an almost universal,
in common, pain that needles all of our hearts; deaths door.

"... take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will
lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." ~ Matthew 16:24-25

To find Christ in the bottom of one’s heart allows Him to be that
foundation, the rock that lifts the whole world and more. Truly, without
surrendering to Him there is no pleasure in carrying death all alone,
whereas He turns the other side of the coin to life over death.
To find Christ is to find that which is greater than the world.

And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh
with its passions and desires. ~ Galatians 5:24

If lusting desires remain in the lower carnal, without a maturing
to spiritual contemplations, the shallow remains over the depth a
true soul was created to know. The heights of heaven are higher
than the bowels of the earth where mortal life originates.
One cannot come to God unless all desires for
earthly considerations are secondary.

... "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." ~ Luke 9:23

In finding purpose in following Christ, it becomes an upward path,
even though each of us bears that baggage that hinders us from plowing
on. Purpose never loses sight of that destination and so it is daily in
our lives as true Christians. An unceasing awareness.

... "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall
know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." ~ John 8:31-32

Are you looking through the window of a disciple?
Disciples peer though His word to achieve clarity of thought. Abiding
in it is to accept and tolerate what has been commanded. Striving to be
better is hard work with rewards of spirit. Let us not blame God for what
man devises in lies against Him or in diluting His significance.

"... By this all will know that you are My disciples,
if you have love for one another." ~ John 13:34-35

In love there is no contempt. Sorrow too often evolves into anger where
delusions ruin a pure heart from knowing the simplest of truths; His love
for us. When love supports a heart, its’ bottom is not left helpless to bear
agony alone. Thank God His Spirit rest upon us all, believers and
unbelievers alike. He bears the load as we arrive.

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as
Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, ... ~ Ephesians 5:1-2

That innocence of childhood lost is where God wants us to return with
wisdom intact. Gleaming in the rainbows of life's approach are the dreams
of children. The innocence of childlike love is a light floating far above the
heights of the sky. Life is a choice to embrace it, life, over death, as Christ
said, let the dead bury the dead. Life is for the living, and best had,
enjoying real deepest love over impulsive selfish desires. When it
becomes more about others the blossom of truth opens.

We must open our hearts and love one another, for without this we know
not God but only self delusions. True life is learning how to die to live.

Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. ~ 1st Corinthians 11:1

Those examples in His Word lead us to know
how to be for the best we can be.

"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is
enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, ..." ~ Matthew 10:24-25

What one seeks is what one learns. To practice evil is to not return, to the
goodness He calls out for, in all of our actions. To know His heart of truth
sets true eternal freedom upon a soul. A disciple has a life in pursuit of
worship in and of Him, and not simply disregarding that which can be an
inconvenient nuance. One regards the commands He demands. Blatant
disregard for His truth is what crushes peoples and decays civilizations
from prospering. Is division a blessing? It is not, but holds the seed
of Satan’s desire for the destruction of souls. Is God the master
or something devised in an isolated deceived heart? Hate is
something done all alone though in crowds we all gather.

... "Lord, I will follow You wherever You go." And Jesus said
to him, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but
the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head." ~ Luke 9:57-58

Do you really follow Jesus? Bags of wind are a dime a dozen.

...Then He said to another, "Follow Me." But he said,
"Lord, let me first go and bury my father. ... ~ Luke 9:59-60

The dead can not go anywhere. We are called to live in His light
announcing His kingdom of life, not death. “Woe is me” has destroyed an
innumerable count. He calls us to be fearless in His delivered living truths.
Many search for the living in the cemeteries of their mind.

And another also said, "Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go
and bid them farewell who are at my house." ... ~ Luke 9:61-62

"But they all with one accord began to make excuses. ... ~ Luke 14:18-20

In order to love as God would have us to live is to look forward releasing
the past. Misery and agony live in the past, where a greater love always
lives ahead. God wants us to be optimistic in our approach to heaven.
Lack of resolve leads to excuses skirting responsibility
to worship the Creator, our Lord God.

Excuses skirt responsibility to worship the Creator
  ● PROPERTY / HOME
  ● BUSINESS / JOB
  ● FAMILY / PEOPLE

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love
the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and mammon." ~ Matthew 6:24

To serve God one has to lose the desires
for the world and embrace the Spirit.

"If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am,
there My servant will be also. ..." ~ John 12:26

A disciple is one who follows as a servant.

"By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit;
so you will be My disciples. ..." ~ John 15:8-10

It is a commandment to keep His commandments.

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart,
from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, ... ~ 1st Timothy 1:5

To arrive in Him is where a sincere faith
cleanses the conscience in the purity of thought.

... Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to
observe all things that I have commanded you; ... ~ Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus Himself calls out for all to become disciples, and
upon our understanding of His message, of salvation,
to actively surrender to Him immersed in His truth.
The promise of eternity should be a welcoming event.

... things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these
to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. ~ 2nd Timothy 2:2

Many loyal have come before, where an enormous amount of
sacrifices have made His word available, to all. These sacrifices are
where man does not oppress man, and cruelty does not deny a quest
for honest living. The message of God is life, not death.

For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving
us an example, that you should follow His steps: ... ~ 1st Peter 2:21

Follow in a life living for God.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship,
in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. ~ Acts 2:42

To be a disciple one must remain steadfast in what
His Word has taught with all one’s might.

Godly imitation flatters the Spirit
One must be ready to abandon all for Christ
One must bear one’s cross & come after Christ
Whoever does not forsake all cannot be My disciple
Whoever loses his life for My sake will find it
Disciples crucify the flesh with its passions/desires
If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed
All will know you are My disciples if you have love
Be imitators of God as dear children & walk in love
No one looking back is fit for the kingdom of God
No one can serve two masters
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me in honor
To glorify God bear much fruit as My disciples
Go make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them

Disciples follow the ways of God.
Darkness has no anchor.

Darkness oh darkness, how art thou able to see?
We are all in the light of His love.

For You will light my lamp; The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
~ Psalms 18:28

Stumbling from one day to the next, sometimes just searching to breathe,
has many dumbfounded as to the reasons we are alive. Is it only to
suffer? Many qualities are at play in the rising of a spirit. One cannot
achieve greater understandings of why without the help of God through
His explaining word. Insights for spiritual living avails one to see clearly.

"... when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when
your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. ..." ~ Luke 11:34-36

Darkness is upon those who lack purpose in His brilliance.
Direction in life is the light that delivers juice; it may or may not involve godly
pursuits. A vague haze lingers on the spiritually blind as impulse pours out in
desperation. A rat cannot see what the eagle perceives. Knowledge is the
road to enlightenment upon understanding. How and what we seek
establishes the good and or bad character that rules us.

"... 'to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light,
and from the power of Satan to God, ...'" ~ Acts 26:18

It is the light of God that has come, to uncover the darkness,
so the blind may be able to rise from their horrible pits of disgust for self.
The foundation of a soul requires love and peace if true maturity is to be
achieved. Allowing His presence delivers those things unobtainable
through mortal means. Light’s warmth expels the cold darkness.
Come to His lifting Spirit and find what cannot be tangibly found.
It is a choice to rise in His light or descend in to the darkness.

He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness ...
~ 1st John 2:9-11

Insincerity is the plague of all genuine.
A blaming soul can cling to a haughty mask which covers the
darkness of a sinking heart. Hate is the fall into the pit of no return.
Isolations best friend is a lone violin no one hears.

Anger is heard loudest in the one who is angry.
Love conquerors anger and is how one comes to possess oneself.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who
follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." ~ John 8:12

His redemption is the escape clause from all that would destroy one.
In His light we see.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines
in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. ~ John 1:4-5

One can avoid the light but it does not change the fact of light.
If one wants to be truly alive, in the fullest sense,
it can only be achieved in His Grace and truth.

"... light has come into the world, and men loved darkness
rather than light, because their deeds were evil." ~ John 3:19

True spiritual darkness has no flavor for open godliness
in its’ self-seeking and hidden lustful venues.

"... Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks
in darkness does not know where he is going. ..." ~ John 12:35-36

As our lives are but a fading brief moment, arrival to His doorstep,
and light’s eternal entrance, is an inevitability for all. To dismiss
His light is to reject life itself in a hollow demise leading to
the eventuality of being left alone in the darkness.

"I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me
should not abide in darkness." ~ John 12:46

Belief in Christ shows us how to rely on God Himself while purging
the unwanted darkness. Darkness is the destiny this universe flows into.
We are meant to be greater than that which we can perceive. Out of the
darkness of the womb we are born in to the light. Our eternal being is
developing, rising from the darkness, born in this womb of His light, for
those that hear the call and see the truth of His design. As fetuses are
blind to the greater extent of the outside, so we too must realize the
boundaries of our spiritual awakenings as we develop inside.
True Faith is by design meant to draw one into eternity.
A lifetime is just a small sense of what yet can be seen.

"... Is of few days and full of trouble. He comes forth like a flower and
fades away; He flees like a shadow and does not continue." ~ Job 14:1-2

In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest:
Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, ... ~ 1st John 3:10

Distinguishing souls of God
        of God → practice righteousness
of the devil → does not love

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.
Walk as children of light ... ~ Ephesians 5:8-10

Self forgiveness is often roughest when one carries evil deeds from
the past or say the baggage of guilt immersed in repentance. Releasing
and abandoning those evil deeds enables a better spirit to rise from that
darkness left to the past. It is the present that the Lord is interested in. All
carry the burdens of living, but the path is either one of rising goodness or
descending oblivion. Either it is a focus on service to others or various vices
of drugs and or alcohol in which self consuming misery covers a painful life
in search of unreachable love. True love originates from the source in which
it came. Returning to Him allows relief from self. To be secure in God one
must take control of the reigns of desire. We need to bring the light of His
truth near to fend off the darkness that lurks seeking to destroy all goodness.
Thoughts are the power of a soul.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather expose them. ... ~ Ephesians 5:11-13

In an age where darkness rules the land, light is hated for the truth
that it is. What is disgusting will always remain disgusting and as
civilization exalts the abominations of evil, excusing them as good, our
monuments of nobility and integrity crumble in the shadows of shame.
Each individual must come to his or her own light, and cast off this
shadow of deception for true salvation of Spirit to be had.
Faith is what is sober in us.

... God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. ~ 1st John 1:5

Light holds no lie
Fellowship in Him = Practice the Truth

To be in the light of God one must practice truth
for a lie of any color is darkness.

... "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light." ... ~ Ephesians 5:14-16

Not coming to His unending light of truth only leaves a soul
rambling in foolishness. He is serious about calling us to be serious
as the times are evil. To miss His message for life in the light has the
real potential of leading to death in the darkness. We need to carry our
responsibility, duty if you will, or reasonable service, called out for by the
Lord our God. No one or thing can replace God who is in each of us.

... against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual
hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ~ Ephesians 6:12

... whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. ~ 2nd Peter 2:17

As individuals we are unable to purge the larger evils which have already
come. There are many Mr. Evil’s. God’s rule will eventually subdue all
darkness. Pray as individuals may we be found in the light, as the
darkness is eternally repelled to its permanent destination of nowhere.
Pray for our victory in His presence.

... For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And
what communion has light with darkness? ~ 2nd Corinthians 6:14

To associate with darkness only diminishes the light within.
Suffocation is where the air is thick gagging the heart. Darkness
has no luster and can only take away any brilliance that can be had.

... proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light; ... ~ 1st Peter 2:9

For the true Christian His light shields us
from the darkness that destroys the world.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us
into the kingdom of the Son of His love, ... ~ Colossians 1:13-14

His life prepares a path for our return where bliss is eternally upon all in Him.
We are now in His kingdom where Christ has paid the sacrificial price for
our redemption, if we in heart follow Him in seeking out His ways.
This Grace comes to light through His sacrifice in love for all.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake
you as a thief. You are all sons of light ... ~ 1st Thessalonians 5:4-5

The faithful good hearted march in beat with His will.

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. ...
~ 1st Thessalonians 5:6-8

Materialism will consume itself in the dead substance that it is. Spiritual
values have worth well beyond the temporal times that confine the mortal.
True strength rises to the anchors He has established for our return.
Is the gravity of one’s thirst for rocks of this world
or that beacon call from eternity’s gates?

"The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who
sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned." ~ Matthew 4:16

His knowledge of truth has delivered us from the darkness of death,
if we open our hearts to see Him for who He is, the Light of Life.
Fear is the path of darkness without the torch of His courage.
Light has overtaken the darkness.

... judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to
light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. ...
~ 1st Corinthians 4:5

It is best to leave it to the good way of God for He will retrieve all that is
upright in Himself, rejecting all that is offensive. Pray we are found pleasing
in His sight, resting our deepest hopes on His promises, and embracing
grace’s protective bosom by which we are buried in the Son of His Love.

Darkness fades as a call comes from His Light
It is the Lord that brings light to a soul
He instructs us to shine in Him rejecting darkness
He who hates holds darkness over any light
His life turns one back to the light over the darkness
Pursuing Jesus allows light to purge darkness
Evil defines all that is darkness
He is the only true path with all blind darkness left behind
Light orders us to find out what is acceptable to Him
It is Christ that gives the light of life
Do not associate with or pursue darkness
Deliverance is one breath away while He is
Fill one’s desires soberly in love hoping for salvation
God will judge the darkness in His light

God’s Light calls to the Darkness to Return
Have you come to the pools of His truth?
Darkness only leaves emptiness in its’ wake.
Darkness has no bottom.

Darkness is uncovered in the brilliance of His light.

... angels who did not keep their proper domain, ... He has reserved
in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment ... ~ Jude 1:6

Condemned for abandoning loyalty to their Creator God, evil waits exposed
in their own naked darkness for His final judgment. Broken from heights
of their own making, reserved in the coldness of separate pain.

... the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them
into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; ... ~ 2nd Peter 2:4

Confined in their own iniquities, destruction is upon them who have turned
from God. If the defiant only realized the exterminating tumultuous state we
are in, as angels do, they would surely throw themselves humbly before Him.
The proud rise to the deepest pits.

... whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a
reviling accusation against them before the Lord. ~ 2nd Peter 2:9-11

For those that show no regard, for authority, invite their own demise. God
delivers those that pray for an escape from evil, who possess a steadfast
patience, and love for Him. It is not an easy path to remain good surrounded
by the vortexes of evil’s revelry. True Christians suffer as Lot did in Sodom
and Gomorrah. We wait for our awakening at our Master’s feet.

"... 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness.
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' " ~ Matthew 25:30

There is an outer darkness where all unrighteousness will be purged
from His presence to their detriment. Casting off the spoon that
feeds you has a permanent taste of death in this instance.

In the realm of His light there are believers and unbelievers. He has
revealed what is and what will be. After all is said and done, it is God that
remains above all for all that is faithful in His goodness. The righteous will
not witness the ultimate demise of the unrighteous, however, the wicked will
witness good’s ascension. To dismiss the trumpets played for all to hear is
to fall on a fools silent shock. Hearts will deposit where they have sought.

... your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you, ... ~ Isaiah 59:1-2

God sees all that is evil though He separates Himself from their wicked
pleas. Many broken sticks walk the land. A broken stick can only be repaired
through a miraculous means. It is the stick that must call out to be healed
as this upwelling prayer in belief and trust is the seed to the request.
Hearts fuse where His brilliance shines.

... No one calls for justice, Nor does any plead for truth.
They trust in empty words and speak lies; ... ~ Isaiah 59:3-4

Evil in its’ bloody lies cannot lie to itself when His justice is revealed.
Shame is the worst when we are conceived into death.

... Their works are works of iniquity, And the act of violence is in their hands.
~ Isaiah 59:5-6

There is no refuge from the evils of man where he perpetuates
upon the meek. Body’s are torn asunder in the rage of man.

Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood;
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; ... ~ Isaiah 59:7-8

Wickedness spins in that black darkness holding calculated callousness.
Oblivion is covered in the whip of ignorance.

... We look for light, but there is darkness!
For brightness, but we walk in blackness! ~ Isaiah 59:9-10

Blindness is a condition of darkness.

... our sins testify against us; For our transgressions are with us,
And as for our iniquities, we know them: ~ Isaiah 59:11-12

A heart cannot hide from His truth as evil is a witness to itself.
There is no comfort in evil.

... Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving and uttering from
the heart words of falsehood. Justice is turned back, ... ~ Isaiah 59:13-14

They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness;
All the foundations of the earth are unstable. ~ Psalms 82:5

Those who would cause the innocent harm are blinded from the truth of God.
No man has the power to protect himself from the powers of self seeking
lustful greedy envious malicious darkness without the peaceful healing
light of God’s own presence. The World Trade Towers destruction, though
horrific, is just a small visible outward sign for heinous acts of hate that
are happening everyday across this world, where darkness pounces to
stomp out the light of God’s own called out for standards of truth. Truths of
decency, honor, and love that rise in those possessing true faith and hope
for their children’s children crumble in the face of evil’s oppression. Adults fail
in raising children if not to teach crucial and critical knowledge of how to live
by the nature of all that is true, and in truth over deceptions of man’s lust
over all. A disrespectful culture of eat before eaten is devouring our children
in ignorance where hate and revenge in envy is magnified over caring
in love. Sand consumes the proud in the unforgiving dust of time.

So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.
Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice.
... And wondered that there was no intercessor; ... ~ Isaiah 59:15-16

Truth emphatically fails where darkness turns from the light.
The good of the earth are victims of the jaws of evil as it is the beastly that
rule the world. Weapons cripple the use of tools. It is the small minded, who
claim greatness as large in themselves, that plow over the poor and afflicted.
The only true sanctuary is in the heart where the rich light of God reveals life.
God Himself came to earth as He saw no man leading man to Him. To come
to God, one has to leave the desires of this world’s wickedness and come to
control self with understanding in Him. Spiritual desolation occurs when
permanence is placed on that which is temporary. Freedom reaches
into eternity. No one has the power to lift life from death other
than the One who came to proclaim it as it is.

He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation
on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance ... ~ Isaiah 59:17-18

Knowing man in his ignorance had not the power to bring forth justice
in truth, He brought Himself to the earth to establish that standard
where light would prevail over the darkness.

... The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard ... ~ Isaiah 59:19-20

It is through God Himself that man is now able to return
with a clean heart directly to Him.

... says the LORD, "this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you,
and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart ..."
... "from this time and forevermore." ~ Isaiah 59:21

For all that would have Him, He is near with His revealing words.

"... He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant
with them, When I take away their sins." ~ Romans 11:26-27

He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him. ~ Daniel 2:22

Then I saw that wisdom excels folly As light excels darkness.
~ Ecclesiastes 2:13

For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. ~ Psalms 36:9

It was foreordained that God would come in the flesh
to reveal the darkness of man; so that man’s thoughts and heart might
return to the good intent of creation over the evil devouring and crushing
of those who would hope. It is currently a narrow slice of souls that pursue
Him wholly in spirit and truth. Darkness pervades the earth in all the
unyielding perversions of man. As most seek to escape in their vices,
Solomon reveals that understanding has more worth to a soul than
unfulfilling follies. As light is ahead of darkness, so does wisdom’s
advance place follies as undesirable fading whims; actual
hindrances. How powerful the redemption of a soul for all.

God’s promise is to save man from himself if He turns back,
striving to be more Holy, to our true nature as created for, in His image.

... The way of the wicked is like darkness;
They do not know what makes them stumble. ~ Proverbs 4:18-19

It is when a heart shines over the darkness that truth come to be.

"... after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write
them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
~ Hebrews 8:10

In the heart of man beats the truth of God if in submission to Him.
This mind of God should be deep upon each of our hearts as we
cherish that which has come for us to know God Himself.

Salvation is found in the Light He gives
The Lord is present before all iniquities
The Lord sees all the evils of corruption
Evil spawns more evil where there is no cover
There is no peace in darkness
Darkness has no sense of light
The deep truth of light shames unjust darkness
Liars deceive themselves in honor
The world tortures the good
God brought Himself forth revealing light to mankind
Transgressive hearts return to God through Christ
The Spirit of God forever remains among us
Salvation will come to those loyal to God
Wisdom in the light is superior to follies in the dark

Hearts can only see in His light of truth.
Darkness conveys all that is empty.

Darkness's deepest part is nothing.
A special creation brings the thoughts of higher than ourselves.
The hallmark of the Christian faith, God’s gift is eternal life for all those
that obey in His ways, and hear the calling of His only begotten.

"... the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have eternal life." ~ John 3:13-15

Jesus Christ is the crux of the Christian faith,
where painless eternal life is offered through belief in Him.

"... He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life. ..." ~ John 3:16-17

More famous than a short motto quip, everlasting life is God’s
concrete construct for all faithful who sincerely believe in Him.

"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who
does not believe the Son shall not see life, ..." ~ John 3:36

When one believes action is a natural result.
The action He calls for is obedience. God has offered His grace
and for those that refuse to acknowledge it, dire the consequences as
announced by God Himself. We are indebted to the mercy offered
through His glorious magnificent grace.

"... he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has
everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, ..." ~ John 5:24

Hearing is synonymous with believing if one genuinely acts on
what is heard. A destination awaits all souls, and it is an individual
choice to embrace or dismiss Him, His call to righteousness.
Life is a choice to rise in Him or descend without Him.
What we believe in or not will bear consequences due, to His
proclamations, over any preconceived notions of our own making.

"And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son
and believes in Him may have everlasting life; ..." ~ John 6:40

Together with Jesus, forever unchanging in His giving presence,
holds His promise of eternal love, for all true and sincere believers.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
I am the bread of life. ..." ~ John 6:47-50

His life offers the true sustenance of spirit for all that chew on His
once delivered word. The spiritual food He offers is the manna of life.

"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of
this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh,
which I shall give for the life of the world." ... ~ John 6:51-52

More than a physical process, digesting the substance of Jesus heals the
soul. It is a call to diligently seek Him out, continuously, as a source of life.

"... Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life,
and I will raise him up at the last day." ~ John 6:53-54

As it is written, His blood is the essence of His giving life. To fully embrace
His life is to be bathed in the sacrifice, presence, of His life, that we all
may find life, in His life. Life with God is eternal. To make His presence
and His life part of one is to know the meaning of this. He offers an
eternally sustaining meal as the source of our creation.

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; ... ~ John 10:27-28

In following Jesus, it is a call to loyally dedicate one’s life, to the good
ways of God. All truly righteous follow the master, our Lord and God.

"He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges
him - the word that I have spoken will judge him ..." ~ John 12:48-50

It has finality, the word of God. Man cannot supersede or dismiss
what God has declared. Is His living water in your heart;
He is the source fountain of all.

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me."
~ John 14:1

Jesus is the comfort component of God given to mankind.

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;
and My Father will love him, and We will come to him ..." ~ John 14:23

Love is the key to all treasures.

"... My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." ~ John 14:27

Without love, there can be no peace. It is faith in love that delivers peace.
Greater than the world is faith dwelling behind the veil
where our hope draws us.

The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him. ~ Nahum 1:7

Trust is an essential component in standing strong
with the word we hold as a defense.

"... And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God,
and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." ~ John 17:1-3

Fundamental Equation of Eternal Truth
Eternal Life = May Know God and Christ

Jesus came to earth to retrieve those in faith that humbly come to Him.
His Holy offering through the grace of timelessness touches all in God’s
plea for souls to hear. Earth is the womb of all of our lives.

... he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who
sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. ~ Galatians 6:7-8

Accountability is His natural occurrence to all actions. His laws in nature
reflect what is spiritually advancing upon us all. Cause and effect is
witnessed throughout all creation. He calls for us to step through the
eternal door where there is no war or fear. The flesh is a test to see
if we can overcome the temptations of rebellion against God’s will,
in this freedom, He has given each of us hearts of our own.

... eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek
for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do
not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness -- indignation and wrath, ...
~ Romans 2:6-8

God has Expectations of His souls
Eternal Life to:

    ● patient continuance in doing good
    ● seek for glory
    ● seek for honor
    ● seek for immortality

A clear distinction displays by the word of God, between good and bad.
Hearts will know God does not play folly to violins of excuse
as He pounds the drum of truth.

... even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord. ~ Romans 5:19-21

The Destination is in the Details

JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD

TO ETERNAL LIFE

  THROUGH RIGHTEOUSNESS
    SIN
 ⭩
    REIGNS          REIGNS
     ⭩
IN DEATH
    GRACE

God in the flesh came to earth to show mankind true righteousness,
and the light from within, things we should all be reaching for.
God searches all hearts to see if one has the character
to believe, and then embrace His ways.

... having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness,
and the end, everlasting life. ... ~ Romans 6:22-23

Grace enables higher truths
Wages of Sin = Death
Gift of God = Eternal Life
in Christ Jesus

Freedom from sin is to grasp God with all one’s might.

... nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the
love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 8:38-39

The love that transcends though eternity cannot compare to the mere
moments where we wait. Love has no need to wait as it is ever enduring.
Life or death is in the hands of Christ and one’s ability to believe.

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son. ... ~ 1st John 5:11-13

Eternal life is the promise of God for all those that believe in His Son,
our Lord Jesus the Christ. It is God’s will for us to know this and
to boldly have humble confidence in our salvation.

Belief Drives Actions
Whoever believes in Him / not perish / eternal life
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life
Who hears My word and believes has everlasting life
Jesus is the bread of life unto eternal life
Whoever eats My flesh & drinks My blood has life
He gives His sheep eternal life
Words God has spoken will judge all on the last day
Eternal life is that they know God and Jesus Christ
He who sows to the Spirit reaps everlasting life
Eternal life to steadfast in goodness who seek Him
Grace reigns to eternal life through Jesus Christ
Wages of sin is death/ God’s gift is eternal life in Christ
God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son

His Glory reigns over all time
Darkness is a gutless empty vomit.

  EternalLifeAM2.mp3 (40m 07s)

Eternal life in God has no compare.

... I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering,
as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.
~ 1st Timothy 1:15-16

Suffering is in all child births. As we emerge from the womb
of the good earth, He awaits as a cheering Father.

... through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace
we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.~ Titus 3:4-7

His word incorporates the knowledge we need to know that sets one free.
Hope in the washing of faith brings brilliance to a heart.
To allow Jesus to command fills one with a spirit greater than life.

... hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie,
promised before time began, ... ~ Titus 1:2

The promise of God is to lift all those who believe.

Called for obedience cannot be denied by flippant casual believers.
Consequences run deep and wide with no escape for those that choose
to unrepentantly disobey. Habitual confessors have no excuse if not
turning to His true call above the fabrications of man’s follies. Is it
for the love of man or God? The answer declares the heart.

I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning,
before there was ever an earth. ~ Proverbs 8:23

as we reach out to heaven itself, blessings of faith unfold.

... praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking
for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. ~ Jude 1:20-21

Spiritual change is collected in all the goodness we plow, sharing what we
have with those God has placed in our lives. Our interactions with those
we encounter, and especially the ones we are most intimate with, expose
who we are, and how we not only love others, but God Himself. Our
relationships reveal our commitment to God. How genuine is a heart?
Hard hearts are healed in the softness of His love.

in a world of sinfulness. Praising Him over the
lawlessness of man secures a true heart.

will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ~ 2nd Peter 1:10-11

nature strengthens our spirit to endure in love of Him, and of all the
goodness that He is. Immersion in the word is our defense.

on rather than jumping into the abyssful chasm below decency.

He is. Confidence in the eternal puts the temporary in perspective.

but the righteous into eternal life." ~ Matthew 25:46

Darkness lurks in the absence of light.
Leadrship reveals true character.

1. George Washington (1789-1797)

“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of
Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits,
and humbly to implore His protection and favor.”

“It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible.”

“The thing that separates the American Christian from
every other person on earth is the fact that he would rather die
on his feet, than live on his knees!”

"I have often expressed my sentiments, that every man, conducting
himself as a good citizen, and being accountable to God alone for his
religious opinions, ought to be protected in worshipping the Deity
according to the dictates of his own conscience."

"Oh, eternal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words and work.
Wash away my sins in the immaculate blood of the lamb and purge my
heart by the Holy Spirit. Daily, frame me more and more in the likeness of
thy son, Jesus Christ, that living in thy fear, and dying in thy favor, I may in
thy appointed time obtain the resurrection of the justified unto eternal life.
Bless, O Lord, the whole race of mankind and let the world be filled
with the knowledge of thy son, Jesus Christ."

"Do not let any one claim to be a true American
if they ever attempt to remove religion from politics."

“Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be
maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to
expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”

“You do well to wish to learn … above all,
the religion of Jesus Christ [In our schools].”

“The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected
on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right,
which heaven itself has ordained.”

“How soon we forget history … Government is not reason,
Government is not eloquence. It is force. And, like fire,
it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.”

“Religion is as necessary to reason as reason is to religion.
The one cannot exist without the other.”

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity,
religion and morality are indispensable supports.”

acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. ... ~ Romans 12:1-3

“Only genuine good hearts are heard by God.
All hypocrites spin percolating in their own demise.
It is the challenge of all wise to tolerate evils of the selfish.
For various moments in time, God gives leadership to the morally wise.”
– Ron Bert

2. John Adams (1797-1801)

“The question before the human race is, whether the God of nature
shall govern the world by his own laws, or whether priests and kings
shall rule it by fictitious miracles?”

“Twenty times in the course of my late reading have I been on the point of
breaking out, “This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were
no religion at all!!!” But in this exclamation I would have been as fanatical
as Bryant or Cleverly. Without religion, this world would be something not
fit to be mentioned in polite company, I mean hell.”

“As the safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially
depend on the protection and the blessing of Almighty God,
and the national acknowledgment of this truth is not only an
indispensable duty which the people owe to Him.”

“We recognize no sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus!”

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.
It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

“Human passions unbridled by morality and religion…would break the
strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net.”

“As the government of the United States of America is not, in any sense,
founded on the Christian Religion - as it has in itself no character of
enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen, - and
as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility
against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that
no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an
interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.”

“The United States is not a Christian nation any more than
it is a Jewish or a Mohameddan nation.”

“I consider a decent respect for Christianity among

morality, and most refined policy, that ever was conceived upon the earth.
It is the most republican book in the world.”
