2/25/2024 ~ The Truth Will Set You Free |

Darkness stops where light commands. Truth is what will stand before all eternity. "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." ~ John 8:32 "... speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand." ~ Ezekiel 3:18 Remaining silent and ignoring the lie emboldens the liar. – Liz Cheney A good question is, should we avoid telling the truth? Keeping truth in the shadows invites being blindsided when God’s judgment exposes all. When truth becomes offensive and ignored, love for others and self is hindered, which can then be mired in guilt and shame, consuming the peace of a healthy spirit. A clear conscience is where the free reside. Without truth’s enlightenment, there is no cure on the path of salvation where honest confession and repentance is paramountly regarded by God. WITHOUT CONFESSION THERE IS NO REPENTANCE. God considers our actions, how and who we praise, and who we condemn. It is true that not listening to God’s word or applying truth causes problems, and hinders the call of the gospel’s application. Truth anchors salvation. Many set their bellies on lunch rather than candid considerations of truth. The donkey is not heard with closed ears or a proud heart that just looks for profit over another. It is true preachers are fired for telling the truth. It takes courage to tell the truth in the face of condemnation. Tyranny’s anguish exists where people or one is forced to remain silent under the threat of undeserved reprisal. Threats and bullying supports none. It is said that sunlight is the best disinfectant. It is then paramount to examine what God’s word explains and instructs in His Light. Integrity has no fear of accountability
Truth from Jesus levied painful results from those who would not listen, and unlike us, He did not cower to speak. We find when courageously in service to others, we glorify God fearlessly in the highest. When nefarious plans drive an organization, whatever it may be, it loses its’ compass for decency and respect for truth and honesty, dismissing genuine well-intended shepherds and or leaders. The phony take over. The church of God becomes ineffective when it becomes a club of men, and not a house of God-fearing honest hopeful worshipers. Where good people are blamed as bad to avoid accountability is surely tragic in the eye of God. "Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, ..." ~ Ezekiel 3:19 It takes courage to proclaim the truth
There are those unwilling to accept the truth of their actions for the shame of exposure. They will not take heed to the call to be truthful for their foundation of deception would crumble. Insecurity and anxiety ride on the heart of a liar. It is truly a shame that these liars steal the truth and consume the innocent that foolishly choose to believe them. Trust is the farthest thing you can achieve with a liar. Liars have no pure love for hate of others and self. Unrepentant hearts have no sense of honesty. Too often, unjust stewards and liars, command attention calling for the denial of truth. Accompanied by outbursts of rage when confronted, their darkened conscience hates the light of truth that piercingly burns through their lies. There is no honor as they run from the light to hide in the shadows of their delusions. To remain silent when knowing truth does dangerously tread on allowing the unrestricted fanning of lies that are bent on destroying truth’s light. In fearfulness, liars more often shamefully hide, unwilling to confront those that would expose truth. ~ It would mean coming to the light. The wounds from a liar can crush the chest and punch the stomach. Liars can do nothing to improve a spirits wellbeing. I've learned that if one lie does not work for a liar, he will just use another. Concerning truth, if two people are at odds claiming each a liar, there is only one liar and God is not fooled. A liar invites his own induced darkness. "... because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; ..." ~ Ezekiel 3:20 To remain righteous is a challenge
It is said there are white lies, however, a snowflake is the beginning of an avalanche. One commonality of liars is their ever increasing broadness of embellishing the deception, to cover the original darkened hole. A liar will personally attack and accuse one yet often fail to deny the truth. Even the avalanche of an aluminum bat across the forehead, will not curtail the spew of a wicked liar. Truth does not teach fools whose desires remain desperate. Freedom only arrives when standing for and in the truth. "... and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul." ~ Ezekiel 3:21 In "to be or not to be" reveals a soul's truth
Actions of a Watchman Witness
More often than not, darkness chooses not to hear in the light for their love and obsessive commitment to the lie(s). Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth ... ~ Ephesians 4:25-32 Calm methodical truth sets all foundations
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. ~ 2nd Timothy 1:7 and many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. ~ 2nd Peter 2:2 In the depth of a heart lies one’s own truth
Each of us holds a core essence of being. It is a battle between fear and courage as we face the world. Assessing these inner values exposes the condition of character. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. ~ Philippians 2:4 Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being. ~ 1st Corinthians 10:24 Our approach to joy is found in helping
The dream of being in Heaven with God is a good hope, but it must be accompanied with an honest humble heart, confessing misgivings over openly denying one’s despicable actions. But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. ~ 1st Timothy 5:8 The despicable selfish seek only for self
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ~ James 1:22 Actions reign over the inactions of just knowing
For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. ... ~ Galatians 6:3-8 Truth has clarity that can be seen by all
... men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw ... ~ 1st Timothy 6:3-6 To be content is the epitome of joy
A liar will always lie about lying. Wicked conceited souls proclaim magnificence
... "Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch?" ~ Luke 6:39 Many look for the truth. Mentors are desired as the lost search for clarity in the truth of it all; a monumental task. To believe a self-seeking liar is to reside in the ditch, mired in the mud of false excuses and the damning greed of the evil. To endorse incompetence diminishes the brilliance of truth. Can the delusional lead you? Can a Con-artist or liar lead you? Only if one is gullible. Bad will never be good. Human doctrine more often is tolerant of the sin God frowns upon. To love God is to adhere to His words. To see truth is to be open to it. It is a Revelation. ... Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ~ 2nd Timothy 2:14-17 Understanding comes by seeing what is said
... have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. ~ Ephesians 5:9-11 What is acceptable to God is made clear
For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men ... as bondservants of God. ~ 1st Peter 2:15-16 God wills we hold compassion in truth humbly
... having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. ~ 1st Peter 3:16 There are those who are obviously evil, with no doubt; prison hardened criminals. Yet in our open society, it is a shame that supposedly good cheerful people in business, politics, and the church, can be such wicked pompous self-centered souls. Jealousy and envy too often inspire backstabbing with deceptive gossip, when the insecure proudly and desperately wish to exalt themselves. People (liars) claim to be what they are not. Psychotic anxiety and depression are widespread where sociopathic lying is commonplace. Is life merely a neurotic encounter of narcissistic lunacy assaults? The cosmic mud-puddle? As a side note, I have long called this the Cosmic Penal Colony. The heart of God seeks that we assume characteristics common with the goodness spoken of, and taught, in the Holy Scriptures. Each soul is responsible for these checks of upright spirit as we do have impact on one another. It is a matter of building together or tearing apart. Either the fabric is torn to shreds, or sewn and stitched wholesomely and cohesively. Catering to the tolerances of man’s lies will not inhibit the wrath of God upon the judgment of truth. To acknowledge God and act upon His word, calling out for His help, understanding, and forgiveness, ensures the strength of His purpose will arrive. To find love is to leave hate and or regrets behind. Hope is the hinge of forever. God remains as the light of life for each of us. An eternal tunnel home has been offered, for all who would hear and act, in the midst of such a heinous world of hypocritical inaction. God help us. Lies push prisons where truth unlocks heaven
Truth is the freedom eternity holds. Darkness evaporates where love shines. |
