              ┌─> Saul was saved when he obeyed what he was told, and was baptized.
... why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, ...
~ Acts 22:12-16


Saul became Paul and penned 14 books of the New Testament.

Reasons Paul has no creditability.
~ "Give him the pink slip!" ~

  1. Paul is an Imposter
  2. He is a Fanatic
  3. He was Deceived
  4. His Testimony Changed  

... heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" ...
~ Act 9:1-19


If Christ is not Real ...

● Imposter                  

- Did he do it to get rich?

      He went from the Jewish elite to a life of persecution. <─┐

... "Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem,
... ~ Acts 9:20-24


... we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.
We are fools for Christ's sake, ... ~ 1st Corinthians 4:9-13


... I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. ...
~ 2nd Corinthians 12:13-14


... but rather serve them because those who are benefited are believers ...
~ 1st Timothy 6:1-5


Paul did not covet the gospel for material gain.

... that no flesh should glory in His presence. ~ 1st Corinthians 1:29

... We have been made as the filth of the world, ... ~ 1st Corinthians 4:13

- How about power?

... lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name.
~ 1st Corinthians 1:11-15


... Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy ... fellow laborer, ...
~ Philemon 1:1


... I rather appeal to you - being such a one as Paul, the aged, and now also
a prisoner of Jesus Christ - ~ Philemon 1:8-9


Not only was he a laborer but he was a servant and prisoner
of Jesus Christ.


For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, ...
~ 2nd Corinthians 4:5


... God who gives the increase. ~ 1st Corinthians 3:4-7

It is God who gives the increase and he did not boast of himself.

- How about pleasure?

What would be appealing from the fleshly stance for Paul?


... And we labor, working with our own hands. ... ~ 1st Corinthians 4:12

                     ┌─> No ulterior motives.
... in everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, ...
~ 2nd Corinthians 11:5-9


... in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure,
in prisons more frequently, ... ~ 2nd Corinthians 11:22-23


He worked hard for the Lord
 He was close to death many times.


... often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness -
~ 2nd Corinthians 11:24-27


When would he stop being a Christian?

~ Was Paul’s life appealing to you?
You most likely would say he was crazy.

Paul was converted by seeing Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead.


... beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; ...
~ 2nd Corinthians 11:25


● Fanatic                      

Just a wishy washy fanatic.
~ Was he moody, No, - he was in control.


... he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come,
... ~ Acts 24:24-25


... Then Agrippa said to Paul, "You almost persuade me
to become a Christian." ... ~ Acts 26:24-29


They knew he was sober.
Paul was steadily looking at Jesus Christ for finding his redemption.


Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say rejoice! ~ Philippians 4:4

● Deceived                 

... near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven.
~ Acts 9:3


... And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but
they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me. ... ~ Acts 22:6-21

└─> The witnesses didn’t understand the voice. <─┐
And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice
but seeing no one. ~ Acts 9:7


           1. The great light shone
2. A great noise.

 It was witnessed.
Why would the Jews with Saul try to fabricate a deception for Christ?
The Christians wouldn’t have lied for him.

┌─> Ananias surly didn’t want anything to do with Paul.    

... about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem. ...
~ Acts 9:13-14


- So everyone hallucinatedhighly unlikely.
If Paul had made a mistake ...


             ● Changed Testimony

┌─> He never wavered from the course.                    
... declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit
of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. ~ Romans 1:4


The gospel doesn’t change.

Paul is evidence that Jesus Christ was the Son of God.


... fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. ...
~ 2nd Timothy 4:6-8


Reasons Paul has creditability.
~ "Give him the green card!" ~

  1. Paul is a Real Person
  2. He is a Sane Man
  3. He was Enlightened
  4. His Testimony Never Changed  

  ● REAL
  ● SANE
  ● ENLIGHTENED
  ● TESTAMENT

Jesus had power over nature, material things, disease, spirits, and death.
(Matthew 8:25-27) (Mark 6:46-51) (Luke 9:10-17) (John 2:1-10) (Matthew 8:16) (Revelation 1:18)

JESUS IS HERE!
