Know thyself, ... but Jesus says Control Thyself. What is the truth of our relationship with God? ~ Self knowledge is key to repentance. Awareness is the wealth of wisdom. ... what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? ... ~ 1st Corinthians 2:10-11 We all know ourselves better than anyone else. There are things in our hearts only we and God know. The question for many is if they can know themselves. How honest can we be with ourselves? ◎ We need to look for spiritual help. ~ We can be blind in seeing ourselves. God sends help with friends, that we may see ourselves better. ┌─> Nathan exposed David’s sin. ... So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." ... ~ 2nd Samuel 12:1-13 David needed help. Can you say, “I have sinned against the Lord?” ┌─> Paul rebukes Peter. ... when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, ... ~ Galatians 2:11-14 Peter needed help. → Not all can see personal errors. New truth is required, and to ably act upon it for salvation. All can choose a path of improvement. ... believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. ~ 2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12 Not dealing rightly with truth could lead to more deception. Courage is required to do what is right though painful. Getting mad will not solve the problem leading one away from salvation. Choice in Thyself

Test of truth: Do you have the right attitude about truth? Do you seek after the truth? Do you pray like David? <─┐ Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. ... ~ Psalm 19:12-14 We all need to correct things we do wrong, ~ to become better in the eyes of God. ◎ ◎ A real person would want to make any correction to become more whole.
