7/30/2007 ~ Christ In Us


... He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me
you can do nothing. ... ~ John 15:1-8

Are you quiet for God, does His word satisfy you?

How is Christ in us?
   └─> If we abide in Him.

... He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
~ 2nd John 1:9

... If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." ~ John 14:6-8
       God the Father was in Him. <─┘

How do we get Jesus to walk in us?
└─> Through the attributes of Jesus.      

... being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, ...
~ Hebrews 1:1-4

Jesus envelops the Brilliance of truth to the glory of all.

... He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun,
and His clothes became as white as the light. ... ~ Matthew 17:1-5

If God is with us, Jesus is in us.

What kind of plant are you rooted in?
└─> The fruit that it bears.   

People will see Jesus in us.

→ God shows us what the focus should be.
~ People saw God when Jesus walked on the earth,
because He cared and spoke truth.
                    └─> All others paled in comparison.

Through God’s pure creation, His Son came for us all to enlighten us all.

Our nation and the world is faced with an identity crisis.

... when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. ...
~ 2nd Corinthians 3:13-17

Regardless of any of man’s whims,
~ we NOW come in the presence of God through the gospel of Christ.

... He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself;
he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, ... ~ 1st John 5:9-10

"... But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny
before My Father who is in heaven." ~ Matthew 10:32-33

Do we only want a little religion to look good ...
or pursuing all of its’ brightness so we may reflect Jesus?
~
It’s not about what one does for the self but what one does for others.
It’s not about remembering us, but Christ.

... Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, ...
~ Philippians 2:1-7

Christ showed the embodiment of God
~ by being the ultimate soul of service.
→ He brought light to perpetual darkness.

... that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those
in heaven, and of those on earth, ... ~ Philippians 2:9-11

What do we decide in view of Christ?
→ Stay in scripture, read as much as possible.

"... you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life."
~ John 5:39-40

CHRIST IN YOU
ABIDE IN HIS WORD

... God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
~ 1st John 4:12-16

... abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence
and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. ... ~ 1st John 2:28-29

You don’t have to put on a veil but shine as Christ did.
