Jesus did not come to bring religion. There has been religion since the beginning. ... it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock ... ~ Genesis 4:3-5 Jesus Christ came to direct true and proper worship to the living God. "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." ~ John 4:24 ... an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: ... ~ Acts 17:18-23 Paul was chosen to convey Christ's message to us all so we can know Him.

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. ~ Proverbs 14:12 We don’t author the doctrine of God. → The God of Heaven has given His Word for us to know Him. RELIGIOUS EXTREMES OF MAN:
... "I am the LORD, and there is no other." ~ Isaiah 45:18 We need to have the proper reverence for God, - not reverence for practices of men. God does not see those things men do for men as worship to Him. He has made it clear how He wants to be worshiped. Commandments found in the New Testament. ~ From the inside and not the outside. ... Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. ... ~ Isaiah 1:11-17 We need to search out God and do what He has asked us to do. For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. ~ Hosea 6:6 HUMAN QUEST FOR IDENTITY:
God started it all for us to know Him in goodness while being thankful. ... He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. ... ~ Acts 17:29-34 If you serve the right God ~ you will repent and believe in the resurrection of Christ. "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, ..." ~ Acts 17:30 └─> For the Hindus, Buddhists, Islamic, etc., all people. ... necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. ~ Jude 1:3 God Himself has delivered the religion He commands man to follow. It is the one way, from the One God, His truth once delivered, the only way. All constructions devised of men are plagued for doom and destruction. Either you believe this or deny this; there is no forgiveness for ignorance. To remain oblivious or to deny Him is to follow Satan to hell. There is no gray area. This is God's truth. Man’s been told. RELIGION IS NOT WRONG, WRONG RELIGION IS WRONG. |
