Give us this day our daily bread. ~ Matthew 6:11 Do not take from others, but be thankful for what we have. God uniquely loves each of us and sends us what is sufficient. → In this we will find more. By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, ... ~ Hebrews 11:17-19 Abraham's contentment was with how he could please God. → Not satisfied with the prizes of this world. ... to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. ... ~ 1st Corinthians 9:24-27 ... forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward ... ~ Philippians 3:13-14 "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust ..." ~ Matthew 6:19-21 BUILD up your Heavenly WORTH. "... the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, ..." ~ Matthew 13:45-46 We should be looking for a relationship with God to make us content. - We should look to be content with Him more and more. We strive for physical things and are not content spiritually. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, ... ~ 1st Timothy 6:9-10 We neglect spiritual rewards if we are discontent with our spiritual lives. Love God and Life ~ |
