We need to be a pillar of truth. The church builds itself up. Do we want our light to shine? ~ Do what works for you. Do we want to help others? Do you ask others if they read the Bible? We do this work individually as well as collectively. ... your care for me has flourished again; ... ~ Philippians 4:10-14 There are physical needs. ... whomever you approve by your letters I will send to bear your gift ... ~ 1st Corinthians 16:1-3 ... their duty is also to minister to them in material things. ~ Romans 15:25-27 ... anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith ... ~ 1st Timothy 5:8 The work of the church is to care about one another, to get involved in God’s word. Talk about the Gospel. Have Bible readings. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, ... ~ James 1:27 ...
